First, the value might dropped if there is updates from developer that cause negative sentiment for the cards. Rewards system, bot system, or new series updates can cause a massive changed on cards value.
Second, the existence of the game itself, because the cards value really depend on it. If the game is rug, then you might see the asset value dropped or even have no value

Not just risk, there is opportunity such as if the game have massive progress development, that cause the game getting booming again and with new players, more demand will come as well, and so the cards value will getting higher.
