Some people need to pay more attention to the beach, like a big painting. This happens more often in kids than in adults. Still, there is a beautiful moment on the beach if we look at it from a life point of view. When I talk about the sand, I mean the part where kids play, or lovers draw hearts. That's why I call it a beautiful canvas on the beach.
There is one thing, though, that we do on the beach without noticing it. Right now, you're walking on the sand, which you know. It's like the sand and our lives: you leave your mark on it. People leave marks on us, and we go on our own. Every step in this life leaves a mark, even if it's only temporary. It can last for a long time; it's the next step you take in life.
In the same way that we started these traces when we came into this world, these marks you are leaving show the road we have traveled our whole lives. They are experiences, challenges, and lessons learned.
As we walk across the canvas, each step is like a brushstroke that tells a different story about the person who crossed that road, leaving a mark in their hearts that will never go away.
Also, we must remember that our choices, actions, words, and feelings affect each other and our world. We share the same day, which makes it seem like the time is sometimes the same. Like a wave wiping it away or thinking it to be that way because that person, that choice, those words, or their motives could come into our lives and make us forget about that mark. That we thought were gone at some point in our lives.
If we leave these marks, we should know that they are valuable and important enough to add to the well-being of all people, to the point where we inspire others to be better and plant a seed of love, compassion, and unity that will last. What makes this different is that the things we leave behind can last for years and decades in this world. Remember that what we leave behind will not be measured by how much money or stuff we get along the way but by what we go in the minds of those who make us forever.
Whether we are living or not, we will still be there.
Everybody can change things, be a lighthouse in the darkness for others, provide solace in a terrible environment, or show others the road forward. It goes beyond mere mark-making. In a changing world where people are thirsty for love and understanding, we need to leave behind signs that change the world.
It's important to know that every step we take, whether with family or other people, makes a mark that others will one day be able to follow.
