Happy Sunday hivers.

Today was a good day for the children and youths in the church because it was a day of celebration that we have all been working towards. The children were prepared as well as the youths, we had mass as early as 9am so that our visitors would be able to make it from far distance. We had many activities to mark this day some of which included, football games, dancing competitions, praise and worship sessions, talks, cultural display of tribes in Nigeria, old school display, career and professional display and so on. It has been an amazing experience so far and we are glad.

Given the fact that it was the children and youth harvest, the preaching and reflection was centered on our belief and fidelity to God. In whatever we do, we should stand firm and put our faith in that which we believe in and it would work out for if we apply physical efforts along with it. We must not act as ignorant Christian who are void of the fact that faith works with putting in work because reverse is the case. Hence, the priest urged members to practice a holy life, work hard and expect a greater reward when missions are accomplished whole heartedly.

As we are stepping into the new week, I intend to my best in whatever I find myself doing, and again keeping a positive mindset is a virtue that helps individuals have a productive day regardless. Some days might prove to be hectic but sometimes the way and method we go about it will determine it will get better or be worse. Hence, let's strive to be better and attain the highest we can to the best our ability. One thing I have also come to realize is that our relationship with other people around us or our colleagues should be positive and a happy one.

In conclusion, the ways I intend to have a great week is by:

  • keeping a positive mindset
  • smile more
  • compliment myself and other people
  • do my best
  • to be kind
