Last week, I announced the creation of a new job – Fitness Friday Writer! A few people applied for this position, and I’ve now chosen our new employee. We had some individuals with great qualifications, but ultimately only person could be chosen.

A warm welcome @mikechrist as our new Fitness Friday Writer!
His experience as a graduate of human kinesiology / exercise physiology was a significant factor in making this choice. While we had some people with definitive fitness experience, I am fond of the idea of having someone who can use some scientific knowledge to craft safe challenges that are appropriate for various levels of fitness.
I certainly hope that our other applicants (i.e. @moremoney28, @tonybad, @mviews, and @mousumi12) will participate in our new challenges! Remember that the winner of each challenge can receive up to 2 HSBI (and likely more in the future), in addition to our regular curation and HSBI rewards.
We have one remaining Fitness Friday this month, so Mike will receive ¼ month pay plus a sign-on bonus for a total of 5 HSBI for this month. From next month going forward, he’ll receive the full 10 HSBI per month.
