The importance of privacy

Hello Hivians. I hope you're having a good week. Lately it seems that the price of Hive has the community a bit depressed. It's not my case because I've never given it much importance. I use Hive more as a pure entertainment where I've met some very interesting people.

But I didn't want to talk to you about the low prices of Hive and how we're going to get back up to $10 per Hive. Today I wanted to talk to you about privacy and its importance especially on the Internet. I've received some comments about how I should publish my own images especially when it comes to my horticultural publications. I'm a person who has had some bad experiences and I don't like to publish any photographs. Maybe I'm taking it a bit to the extreme but you'd be surprised at what can be done with a few simple details.

Privacy is something fundamental especially on the Internet where everything remains eternal. Information is power and giving that power to others you don't know and don't trust is a reckless act. The Internet is not a two-way conversation. You are not showing your photos or personal information to a friend. You are sharing it with the whole world. And not just the world of today, but the world of tomorrow.
Laws change, rules change, and what is accepted today may not be accepted tomorrow. Just ask Walt Disney.
So you should always remember that famous phrase from the police on TV: "Anything you say can and will be used against you."
