Irrigation, the key to a good harvest.

Irrigation is undoubtedly the key to having a good harvest. Badly watered plants will be weak and will not absorb nutrients well, so pests will prey on them or the fruits will be very small. Just like in a human being, the stronger and healthier you are, the better you can fight adversities. Healthy plants have defenses just like us and are the first to act when there is a pest or disease.

It could be said that there is no place where it rains in a perfect way. And in most places it rains really badly for our garden. Tasty plants are delicate so it is up to us to do the work.
There are two determining factors. The quality of the water and the way of irrigation. I already mentioned in another post how important it is to have quality water to be able to water our garden.

The way of irrigation is also important. Unless you have a lot of water left over or even then, watering heavily is totally inadvisable. Making irrigation channels to direct water by gravity can be useful but it is not the best method.
Without a doubt, drip irrigation is the best method, which helps us to use much less water but above all, it will ensure that our vegetables receive the right amount they need to grow and produce delicious fruit.
