I remember the time in many places where I used to write there used to be sharks and the whales who had habit of walking over people. So any opinion that we used to express it used to bite us back. Because it was like unless you have power you can't say anything!
Take case of the educational places. Where if you get bullied by the other people that is because you allowed it. And that means you have to understand that you don't let the people walk over you. You have to learn to move ahead and stand your ground or else they take advantage of you.
Take an example at home, if you don't draw the boundary between your goals and the parents. You would end up their pet and they would use you like a pet that works as per their wishes till the end of their life. And so it'd be reasonable to say that you have to understand how much one should walk over you and how much you are supposed to keep the distance.
Same goes with the siblings and the people in the relations. You have to learn to draw the boundary. You understand how much you keep the distance and how much you are bringin in the interference of theirs into your life. In such case it makes sense to let them have some distnace and only make sense to keep them within boundary as you age.
Take next case of the office people. You have to also draw the line. Never share the office sstuff at home and never share the home stuff to office. Act like an adult and understand how the managing of the relations and the professionalism works there.
There are also people on internet, if you let them they will walk over you. Even on hive if you let the top accounts manipulate you they will walk over you. I know plenty who regulalry power down but they give advice of the powering up and not taking profit. There are also who used bots to upvote but they don't like them anymore. They also hate the AI now while their other accounts show use of it.
Life works like that, if you don't stress yourself and move ahead you are going to suffer. You have to move ahead in life so that they don't walk over you.
You have to know when to draw the boundary.
