"Gratitude is riches. Complaint is poverty."โ€“Doris Day

(If you prefer not to be tagged just let me know ๐Ÿ‘)

If this is your first time here, this is what this giveaway is about: every Saturday (unless I'm late enough for it to be Sundayโ€ฆagain ๐Ÿ˜…) I invite anyone who happens to stumble upon this post to share something they feel grateful for. Aside from getting the chance to express your gratitude, you could win one of the prizes.

What prizes?

๐ŸŽ 1st Gratitude Comment gets 100 Ecency points
๐ŸŽ 2nd Gratitude Comment gets 90 Ecency points
๐ŸŽ 3rd Gratitude Comment gets 80 Ecency points
๐ŸŽ 4th Gratitude Comment gets 70 Ecency points
๐ŸŽ 5th Gratitude Comment gets 60 Ecency points

But why gratitude?

Because gratitude is great for you. Being grateful can yield all sorts of benefits including:

  • More restful sleep
  • Better focus
  • More patience
  • Improved self-esteem
  • More positive moods
  • Stronger relationships
  • (And many more)

And that's just from a scientific perspective. If you look at it in terms of the energy you put into the world and what you'd like to have returned to you, gratitude can encourage more good things to come your way. You don't have to believe it just because I (or anybody else) said so. Try it yourself with Graturday ๐Ÿ˜‰. Here's how:

The Rules

  1. Leave a comment on this post about something you feel grateful for.
  2. Comments can be any length as long as they clearly convey what you feel grateful for.
  3. You can't pick everything or everyone, so narrow it down to something or someone specific.
  4. You can't give the same comment more than once in a month if you want your entry to be eligible for prizes. (But if you want to mention something multiple times per month alongside new things you feel grateful for, that's fine too.)
  5. You don't have to upvote or repost to enter, but if you do, just know that you have my gratitude for that.
  6. You have until next week's Graturday post goes up to enter for this week โณ.

What am I grateful for this week?

I am really grateful for all seven of the people who participated last week. That's the most I've ever seen for a single Graturday post! The more we talk about the things and people we're grateful for the more we can help each other remember what's important and what we should focus on most. So thank you all ๐Ÿค—.

Okay, now it's your turn! Please join in and let me know in the comments what you felt grateful for this past week.

Have a Great Graturday (or Grand Grunday ๐Ÿ˜„)!
