Which company will dominate self driving taxi industry?

One day, we'll have more self driving cars in the world than the regular cars. This will happen regardless of whether electric cars become popular or not in the near future.

That means we'll be having a new industry of self driving car manufacturing. There are a lot of companies right now trying to dominate this industry before it becomes popular so they can make huge profits because they see that this is eventual.

Self Driving Cars that we can order just like we order an Uber today have been given a name "robotaxis"

The are currently three companies that are notable for manufacturing these robotaxis and the companies are Tesla, Waymo, and Uber.

Most people do not know much about Waymo but at the moment amongst the three competing companies, Waymo makes the best of robotaxis.

Each company has a different approach. Tesla and Waymo main aim is to create their own rideshare networks but it's not as easy as it may sound because they need to spend a lot on making new vehicles, maintenance, and the technology that'll be used to create this cars.

I personally think the most difficult tawk for them whenever their ready to make it an official business is how they will attract many users quickly to be able to cover their costs of manufacturing and stay in business.

Uber at the moment is the most popular of the three companies and has a strong rideshare network already. Also, Uber does not own or manufacture the cars, which keeps its costs lower than Tesla and Waymo. I think this flexibility advantage will allow Uber to react quickly to changes in demand, quicker than the other two companies could.

Uber already has millions of users who regularly use its app not just for transportation of people but also goods. Uber's model of connecting people with rides works very well. So if Tesla and Waymo want to succeed, they will need to partner with rideshare platforms like Uber and Bolt.

So I think that Uber might be the company to dominate the robotaxis industry.
