Buenos días a mi hermosa tribu, espero que estén pasando un día muy bonito. Por este lado del mapa venezolano bajó muchísimo la ola de calor, y el cielo nos regaló un amanecer muy fresco con una suave lluvia. Leyendo sus iniciativas que todas son maravillosas, me conecté con una que me trajo recuerdos de grandes experiencias de vida, y hoy les comparto mi participación en la iniciativa convocada por nuestra amiga @nathyortiz que se titula: "Fomentando el amor propio // "Confianza en ti mismo". A la misma me complace invitar a mis amigas @mercmarg y @brujita18, para que nos narren sus experiencias.
Basada en tres interrogantes presentes en el post de Nathy que son muy interesantes, les comparto mis respuestas al respecto:
Good morning to my beautiful tribe, I hope you are having a very nice day. On this side of the Venezuelan map the heat wave has gone down a lot, and the sky gave us a very cool dawn with a gentle rain. Reading your initiatives, which are all wonderful, I connected with one that brought back memories of great life experiences, and today I share with you my participation in the initiative called by our friend @nathyortiz entitled: "Fostering self-esteem // "Self-confidence".. I am pleased to invite my friends @mercmarg and @brujita18, to tell us about their experiences.
Based on three very interesting questions in Nathy's post, I will share my answers to them:
1.- ¿Cómo afrontas la confianza en ti mismo?
Primero que nada, trato de serenarme para poder evaluar lo que sea que voy a enfrentar, con la cabeza tranquila. Luego hablo muchísimo con Dios, para que me dé fortaleza y valor para dar un paso al frente. Sin su apoyo sería imposible confiar en mí, porque primero debo sentir en mi alma y en mi corazón, que Él confía totalmente en mí y en mis capacidades. La energía que nos transmite este momento de conexión con nuestro padre, es esencial para cualquier evento de nuestras vidas. Por último, me abrazo a mí misma desde el alma para darme valor, energía y fortaleza suficientes para salir y enfrentar lo que sea con la convicción de que voy a lograr el éxito.
1.- How do you deal with self-confidence?
First of all, I try to calm myself down to be able to evaluate whatever I am going to face, with a calm head. Then I talk a lot with God, so that he gives me strength and courage to take a step forward. Without his support it would be impossible to trust me, because first I must feel in my soul and in my heart that he has complete confidence in me and in my abilities. The energy that this moment of connection with our father transmits to us is essential for any event in our lives. Finally, I embrace myself from the soul to give me enough courage, energy and strength to go out and face whatever it is with the conviction that I will succeed.
2.- ¿Cuál es la base de la confianza?
Pienso que lo principal es ser honestos con nosotros mismos y con los demás, y dejar conocer lo que tenemos, y lo que estamos en capacidad de ofrecer. La mentira no tiene cabida en este proceso, ya que si engañamos a los demás haciéndoles creer que estamos preparados para desempeñar un rol determinado en la vida, sin estarlo, eso implica engañarnos nosotros mismos y fracasar, y por ende, perder la confianza de los demás. Para afrontar cualquier evento es necesario ser sinceros, y respetar a los que están depositando toda su confianza en nosotros.
2.- What is the basis of confidence?
I think that the main thing is to be honest with ourselves and with others, and to let people know what we have and what we are able to offer. Lying has no place in this process, because if we deceive others by making them believe that we are prepared to play a certain role in life, without being so, this implies deceiving ourselves and failing, and therefore, losing the trust of others. To face any event it is necessary to be sincere and respect those who are placing all their trust in us.
3.- Cuéntame alguna oportunidad donde expresaste confianza en ti mismo.
Creo que desde que la maternidad formó parte de mi vida comencé a darle fuerza a la gran responsabilidad que tenía en mis manos. Nunca pensé que el destino me tenía preparada una experiencia tan compleja, y fue cuando me quedé sola con mis hijos ambos menores de edad, partiendo de cero, en una nueva ciudad, una nueva casa que no estaba en condiciones de ser habitada, con miedo y angustia, sin trabajo, y sin dinero.
3.- Tell me about an opportunity where you expressed confidence in yourself.
I think that since motherhood became part of my life I began to give strength to the great responsibility I had in my hands. I never thought that destiny had prepared such a complex experience for me, and it was when I was left alone with my children, both minors, starting from scratch, in a new city, a new house that was not fit to be inhabited, with fear and anguish, no job, and no money.
El panorama era oscuro, pero por un momento sólo me aferré a Dios y no vi para atrás, sentí una fuerza muy poderosa que me hizo perder el miedo a lo que pudiera venir, y con el apoyo de mi hijo, que era el mayor de los dos, comenzamos a salir adelante hasta que conseguí trabajo en un colegio y poco a poco fuimos enderezando nuestras vidas. Cada día al llegar todos a la casa y compartir juntos los eventos del día, nos sentíamos más unidos y con más fuerza para no derrumbarnos y alcanzar todas nuestras metas.
Al principio no sabía qué iba a hacer, tuve miedo, lo admito, pero jamás perdí la fe en Dios y en las posibilidades que me brindaría para salir adelante. Mi confianza en mis capacidades fue creciendo, y después sentí mucha paz porque sabía que de ahí en adelante era capaz de hacer cosas maravillosas.
La parte más hermosa de toda esta experiencia fue cuando al pasar de los años, mis hijos valoraron todo lo vivido, lo trabajado, y el resultado obtenido, agradeciéndome cada día ese momento de confianza mutua que nos permitió salir adelante unidos, pero sobre todo, dándome a mí la satisfacción de haber alcanzado una meta tan importante en mi vida como madre, y llevar una batuta tan delicada, que es la formación de dos seres. Todo gracias a la confianza que deposité en mí misma que finalmente fue el arma más poderosa para alcanzar el éxito.
The outlook was dark, but for a moment I just clung to God and did not look back, I felt a very powerful force that made me lose my fear of what might come, and with the support of my son, who was the oldest of the two, we began to move forward until I got a job in a school and little by little we were straightening our lives. Every day when we all arrived home and shared together the events of the day, we felt more united and with more strength to not collapse and to achieve all our goals.
At the beginning I did not know what I was going to do, I was afraid, I admit it, but I never lost faith in God and in the possibilities that He would give me to succeed. My confidence in my abilities grew, and then I felt a lot of peace because I knew that from then on I was capable of doing wonderful things.
The most beautiful part of this whole experience was when, as the years went by, my children valued everything I had lived, everything I had worked for, and the results obtained, thanking me every day for that moment of mutual trust that allowed us to move forward together, but above all, giving me the satisfaction of having achieved such an important goal in my life as a mother, and of carrying such a delicate baton, which is the formation of two beings. All thanks to the confidence that I placed in myself, which in the end was the most powerful weapon to achieve success.
