Rebuying tools!
Not something I wanted to be doing, but I need tools and they are always money well spent. In Europe I used to like Makita and Dewalt drills the best, for different jobs. Over here in the Américas, I had a problem with the Deqalts whilst looking at them in shops, because they are different to the ones in europe, they seem less hardcore and look to me like a fake.
Replaced!
I guess the same happens for Americans when they got to Europe!
I took quite some time umming and arring because over here Miliwakee is famous whilst in europe its used, but only by the ones who think its worth the extra bucks. As I was ready, max out the cash I took with me, the same thing happened as the last time i was in the shop..
The well placed shopping trolly full of what was obviously returned goods. They were probably fresh as they had no prices on them, but there was an 18v Ryobi Drill in a combi pack with a disc cutter/angle grinder. Thinking about it now, this drill I got today was the THIRD drill I brought in a full year to the week hahahah

One drill got seized at customs that I took with me here from europe and then I got a Ryobi drill (first ryobi tool ever!) and at the same time found a ryobi angle grinder in the discout trolley, and it was good to see the universe giving me some weird signs again as it does with the trolley today. I never know, like today, when I get this happenings, what decisión to make. The drill and disc cutter today in the combi pack were identical to the ones I had had stolen, and there was a lot of waiting to find out the price.
I had already chose the Dewalt Compact versión and yes, it was suddenly time to get into a conflict of decisions on what to buy, the one i chose, the dewalt, or the ryobi drill with the disc cutter.
Does anyone else have these moments?
I had to wait a long time for them to make up a price for it, and the longer it took the more I had to smile. I dont normally find it hard to make a decision but I was taking ages this time! It worked out that I would save 40usd and get a disc cutter for free as the same price for the Ryobi. Ryobis are not bad, but Dewalt is better :)
I stuck with the decision with the dewalt due to its smaller size, now that I'm in minivan life and not van or lorry life!
It was nice though to be back in the flow and being offered options again from the universe!
Im happy with this, and it looks and feels more like a european dewalt drill - its not just yellow looking fake haha
I have more things on the way soon from online to acompany the van life and outdoors again. Im well exited to get those, and no, Im not saying now whats on its way! 3 cool things!
