They say that life is like a plain pages of a book, whatever is written is what you choose to write. I used to thinkthat I have the power to decide what I want to appear on the pages of my life but I have come to realize that the power to decide is not mine.
I have made peace with the fact that I cannot do everything and anything but it should not stop me from doing something. There are times that i bask in the happiness of the moment, I eat up every piece of joy that I find with the biggest spoon in fear of the uncertainty that is ahead.
Today I choose to be in the moment, I ignored the urge to worry about how long it was going to last. I was delighted in the mood I was in.
A friend had mentioned that there was a new restaurant that she had just discovered and suggested that we go check it out.
There's this euphoria that comes with newness, new clothes, shoes, places and even people. I was so excited because the place exceeded my expectations. Firstly, I love the location, it is very easy to find, it was outstanding because of the colors and the architecture of the building was extremely beautiful.
It had beautiful decorations, with bright bulbs both tiny and big, it had dropping flowers and luxurious setting of the tables and chairs.
I had the best parfait of my life, it tasted really good and made me really happy.
It's funny how something as little as this improved the quality of my mood.
Another thing I love about this place is that it is very budget friendly, their menu is designed in such a way that it can accommodate any kind of budget. It is a very lovely place to create memories that would last a life time.
I think I would come here very often. The environment is calm and very relaxing, the waiters are warm and welcoming, there literally nothing unlovable about this place. I plan to go there very soon, to experience this feeling over and over again.
