Graz ist zwar mit ihren knapp 300.000 Einwohnern eine doch kleine Stadt nach Zahlen, aber immerhin die zweit größte Stadt Österreichs. Sie liegt Südöstlich von Österreich gelegen und die Hauptstadt der Steiermark. Hier ist dank der Lage ein sehr mediterranes Klima. Im Herzen von Graz gibt es eine recht gut erhaltene Festung Namens Schlossberg. Auf dem sich auch das Wahrzeichen der Uhrturm befindet. Dessen Zifferblatt eine Besonderheit aufweist: Der Minutenzeiger ist der kleinere Zeiger und der Stundenzeiger der größere Zeiger.
Das hatte damit zu tun, das die Bevölkerung in früheren Zeiten die Uhrzeit besser einschätzen konnte.
Auch ist die Festung eine, der wenigen in Europas die nie eingenommen wurde.
Liegt auch daran, dass man sich einmal bei den Franzosen frei kaufen konnte.
Graz, with its almost 300,000 inhabitants, is a small city in terms of numbers, but it is still the second largest city in Austria. It is located southeast of Austria and is the capital of Styria. Thanks to its location, it enjoys a very Mediterranean climate. In the heart of Graz there is a quite well preserved fortress called Schlossberg. On it is also the landmark of the clock tower. Its clock face has a special feature: The minute hand is the smaller hand and the hour hand is the larger hand. This had to do with the fact that in earlier times the population could better estimate the time.
The fortress is also one of the few in Europe that has never been captured.

In der Innenstadt bzw. der Altstadt gibt es noch sehr viele (auch) historische Altbauten, die sehr von italienischen Baumeister geprägt sind.
In the city centre or the old town there are still many (also) historical old buildings, which are very much influenced by Italian master builders.

Graz ist auch eine Universitäts-Stadt. Ca.32.000 Studierende gibt es, in vielen Studienrichtungen wie z.B.: Kunst, Musik, Medizin, Rechtswissenschaften, katholische Theologie, usw. und natürlich auch Fachhochschulen wie Campus 02 Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft. Hier ist auch ein Schwerpunkt Betreff alles, was mit Internet zu tun hat in allen Richtungen.

Graz ist auch seit 1. Dezember 1999 UNESCO Weltkulturerbe! Ein Grund ist die hervorragend erhaltene Grazer Altstadt, im Speziellen ihre roten Dächer Landschaft über der Altstadt.
Am 1. August 2010, erfolgte die Erweiterung der Grazer Weltkulturerbe, mit einer Zone rund um Schloss Eggenberg. Ist auch eine sehr gefragte Hochzeits-Lokation.
Graz has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1 December 1999! One reason is the excellently preserved Old Town of Graz, especially its red roofs landscape above the Old Town.
On 1 August 2010, the expansion of the Graz World Heritage Site took place, with a zone around Schloss Eggenberg. Is also a very popular wedding location.

Der Grazer Advent hat in den letzten Jahren immer mehr Anklang gefunden und ist beliebt bei jung gebliebenen und jungen sowiso!!

So, das war nun mal ein erster Einblick von meiner Heimatstadt Graz! Vielleicht seit ihr Mal in der Nähe, dann einfach mal anschreiben, für nen kurzen Plausch mit Kaffee und Apfelstrudel findet sich immer Zeit. Oder noch besser schaut doch mal bei einem der nächsten Crypto Blogger Meetups direkt vorbei.
