Yesterday I posted an update on the HUI, the index of unhedged gold miners, and posted a series of "target" numbers to watch. Gold and Silver and HUI Index
These are the "target" numbers:
245.21
268.70
280.36
290.84
299.06
312.97
334.96
357.40
370.86
These numbers will regularly appear at the HIGH, LOW and/or CLOSE of the HUI on a daily chart.
If you said 313.10, you would be correct!
And if you look at the list of "target" numbers you will find the number 312.97 a difference of 0.13 points. Not bad, if you ask me.
And as a reminder, these target numbers are provided for entertainment and education rather than trading advice. The HUI did post a "sell" signal today at the same time both GOLD and Silver had solid gains today.
So what does all this mean?
I guess that if you are in the BULL camp it means that the HUI just wanted to give the "target" a kiss goodbye before launching higher towards 334.96.
If you are in a BEARISH mood, the HUI is going down towards 299.06!
The main point of this post is for education, to get your mind thinking that the markets are not as random as some folks would have you believe. There exists a rhythm and a rhyme both of time and space.
