Normally I'm the guy who scoffs at the people making claims that silver price will skyrocket. That was then. Over Black Friday, silver went from $50/oz to $56/oz. In a day. It's the end of Monday, and now it's at $57/oz.
This is how I feel each time I open the Kitco app, expecting to see silver price has fallen and finding out exactly the opposite is happening.
I hate to say it, but at the rate things are going I wouldn't be shocked to see silver at $70/oz by the end of 2026.
This is the 1 year silver chart from the Kitco app.
In about one year, the price of silver has nearly doubled. Given such a large increase, a $13/oz rise in silver price really doesn't seem that far fetched anymore.
I'm hoping I'm wrong. As much as I love seeing the price of silver that high, it means I can't stack nearly as much as I'd like every month. I miss the days when silver was unloved and $18/oz. You could buy a whole tube of silver coins for less than it cost to buy a 55" TV at Walmart. Whoever is in charge of rigging the paper spot price is slacking big time. Get on it! 馃槢
