A short while ago the awesome Silver Gold Stackers Community on HIVE held a Monster Raffle of Silver Prizes as a fundraiser. I was lucky enough to jag one of the prizes which was donated by @enginewitty who had put up 2 "Dealers Choice" prizes so I was able to pick from a pretty wide selection. We both have a great appreciation for the fairer sex so I decided on this great coin - The "Valkyries: Solveig 1 Oz Silver BU". Beautiful, but also classy and my first piece from the Germania Mint. It arrived in the mail last week and it looks great!
Apologies, my photography is not great but you can see the beautiful Valkyrie with kick-ass battle axe in hand with a couple of wild animals in a fitting natural setting in the background. Super hot and I'm very happy with my Dealers Choice.
The obverse has a bear and the German Eagles with 5 Mark denomination and mint of origin. You can't really see the edging but there is some intricate patterns with Dragons there. It's an incredibly detailed quality piece.
But that's not all. As is the SGS way, there were a couple of little extras that accompanied the shiny.
There was this squishy thing that I've started using as a stress ball. It is actually surprisingly satisfying and has already been getting a pretty fair workout.
He also gave me this Thor Hammer key ring in case I need to whack anyone over the head. As @enginewitty is a fellow dedicated community builder on HIVE I think these last 2 extras are giving me a bit of a message. I'm hearing you brother!
Finally, he's sent me a Bug Army so now I have some minions to do my bidding. Go forth my pretties! Muahaha!
On a more serious note though, I love the silver and the extras are are really nice touch. Thanks @enginewitty for your ongoing support of SGS and the Monster Raffle fundraisers. Thanks for the cool silver and the thoughtful and amusing extras. Really appreciate it.
