Unofficial Warsaken Blitz BETA tournament rules

DISCLAIMER

Organizers of this tournament are community members, not the Warsaken team, should something go wrong, Warsaken development team is not responsible.

We are using a public BETA client that is meant to be tested on PC for this tournament. Should you use a smart device or MAC, there might be some issues.

Beta testing takes priority ! Should developers need to upgrade the client at any given time, this may lead to delays in tournament, in this case, again blame us, not the developers.

Please report all bugs you find during the tournament to the official bug report form which you can find in Warsaken discord at the announcement channel, just scroll up a bit.

ALL matches are randomized, this means you may meet an opponent from other side of the planet, leading to rather difficult match times, please be prepared for this when you sign up.

You are allowed to stream games, but remember to mention that this is a test environment and not the final product.

Flow of the tournament

To participate, you need a Blitz ready deck with full NFT ownership. You can try to play a match at warsaken.cards/battle, if you are unable to, your deck is not ready.

You register to the tournament using the form provided in Warsaken discord tournament channel. This is the ONLY official location of this form.

Referees will split the participants to blocks based on their names in Alphabetical order and randomize all matches in their block using method of their choosing. (wheel, rolling dice, so on). Once this is done, they will post the match pairs in Tournament channel of Warsaken discord.

Players are responsible for finding themselves and their opponent in these lists. All lists are in alphabetical order, so you will know which referee oversees your name block.

As a player, you are responsible for contacting your opponent for a match time and date. This has to be done within the given time frame of the announcement ( in Three or two days since pairs are listed). you do this every round of the tournament.

Once date has been agreed on, players meet and host a match using the code system in warsaken.cards/battle section. You do not need to give a referee this time and date.

Each match consists of best out of three games and both players are allowed to change their decks between matches. To proceed, one player has to win twice.

Once result have been settled, one of the participants has to send the end result screenshots to their block's referee. Referee will then add the winner to next round. This MUST be done within given time frame.

There is one day brake between rounds, during which referees will compile results and form a new block and then list it on the tournament page. This is repeated until there is a small enough pool of participants to combine all blocks for a final bracket.

Should for any reason during the tournament there be a block with Uneven players, an outside opponent will play them. If they win, they continue, if they lose, they fall of the tournament. These opponents won't progress this way either.

Any possible changes and updates will be posted in the Warsaken discord's Tournaments channel.

Rule violations and disqualification

Deadlines are absolute. Deadlines will be announced in UTC +0 time. You are responsible for following them and reporting your games to referees. Only exceptions are delays due client updates.

If you do not have a Blitz ready deck, you are disqualified.

If end results are not reported in time to a referee, both players are disqualified.

If no attempt to make a match is not made by either player, both players are disqualified.

if you contact your opponent but they do not reply, send screenshot of this contact to referee of your block and you will proceed in the tournament.

Failing to be present during agreed time will result in disqualification. Again, screenshot proof needs to be send to referee to show you had agreed on time and date.

Being rude to your opponent publicly or privately leads to disqualification, you can be salty but don't be offensive.

Do not stall during match, thinking is allowed of course, but taking needlessly long time to stall a game is not good manners.

If anything above gets contested, referee makes a decision on results based on time they have available. This can be a streamed match on warzone or just an outright decision based on details known.

If you try to falsify reports or lie about your opponent not playing and get caught, you will be banned from any future tournament we host.

Additional notes

Official referees for this tournament are : Agent Zarah Zivai, Sparky the Refree, War never changes. And Cubos the weatherman as reserve.

The more people participate, the longer this tournament will last, be ready for that.
