💕 Meraki

Creo que esta palabra define perfectamente mi filosofía de vida y posiblemente si este libro de mandalas no hubiese llegado a mis manos jamás hubiese descubierto lo bien que se ajusta Meraki a lo que soy, a mí esencia. Recuerdo que cuando era niña mi abuela vivía diciéndome: "si vas a hacer algo, hazlo bien. Ponle empeño y cariño"...y la verdad es que esa recomendación quedó tatuada para siempre en mi mente.

Siempre me he caracterizado por ser una apasionada de lo que hago, de dar lo mejor de mi en cada trabajo, pensamiento y acción. Nunca me ha gustado hacer las cosas por salir del paso y de hecho el hacer por hacer es algo que no se alinea con lo que yo soy. La vida es corta así que, ¿por qué no dar lo mejor de nosotros en cada parpadeo y respiro? así la huella que dejemos a nuestro paso por más pequeña que sea, será imborrable.

To do something with love, putting the soul into it.

I believe that this word perfectly defines my philosophy of life and possibly if this book of mandalas had not come into my hands I would never have discovered how well Meraki fits what I am, my essence. I remember when I was a child my grandmother used to tell me: "if you are going to do something, do it well. Put effort and love into it" and the truth is that this recommendation was tattooed forever in my mind.

I have always been characterized for being passionate about what I do, to give the best of me in every work, thought and action. I have never liked to do things just to get by and in fact doing things for the sake of doing them is something that does not align with who I am. Life is short so why not give the best of ourselves in every blink and breath so the footprint we leave in our wake however small it may be, will be indelible.
