¡Hola, hola, gente linda!✨ Ahora que estoy vacaciones de verano, relajada del gran estrés de la universidad, que ya logré descansar y recuperar la energía que me habían drenado, tengo suficiente tiempo libre para invertirlo en lo que desee, en todas esas cositas que no tenía ánimos de hacer en los últimos días. Cositas que amo, que me emocionan, que me dan vida, y que, sinceramente, cuando vuelva a clases debo organizarme mejor para darme un pequeño gusto de estos y no volver a caer en la locura.
Como puedes ver, dentro de esas cosas está: pintar🎨 Por mucho tiempo creí que no tenía talento para lo artístico, hasta que un día en cuarentena, al borde del abismo, me arriesgué a dibujar algo, y curiosamente, sí tenía algo de talento para esto, al menos lo suficiente para entretenerme. Así que si eres como yo, que se está limitando sin siquiera haberlo intentado, o lo hiciste una sola vez y te frustraste porque no salió como esperabas, te invito a que sigas este tutorial, y paso a paso hagas conmigo un sencillo, pero lindo, cuadro☀️
Hello, hello, beautiful people!✨ Now that I'm on summer vacation, relaxed from the stress of college, that I've been able to rest and recover the energy that had been drained from me, I have enough free time to invest it in whatever I want, in all those little things I didn't feel like doing in the last few days. Little things that I love, that excite me, that give me life, and that, honestly, when I go back to school I must organize myself better to give myself a little taste of these and not fall back into madness.
As you can see, within those things is: painting🎨 For a long time I thought I had no talent for the artistic, until one day in quarantine, on the edge of the abyss, I risked to draw something, and curiously, I did have some talent for this, at least enough to entertain me. So if you are like me, who is limiting yourself without even trying it, or you did it just once and got frustrated because it didn't come out as you expected, I invite you to follow this tutorial, and step by step make with me a simple, but cute, painting☀️
Antes de hacer cualquiera de estas cosas, realizo una extensa investigación en Pinterest, una de las mejores aplicaciones que puedas encontrar. Tengo una idea en mi cabeza de lo que quiera hacer y busco inspiración allí. Obviamente, no me va a salir tal como lo haya encontrado, porque cada quien debe agregarle su esencia a lo que hace, pero con algo se debe comenzar.
En este momento no tengo lienzos (ya tengo en mi lista comprar algunos), por lo tanto, utilicé un pequeño cuadrado de cartulina blanca, así que tú puedes hacerlo en donde puedas.
Como ya viste arriba, pintaremos un lindo atardecer. Lo mejor de esta pintura es el cielo, me encanta tenerlo presente, porque los amaneceres y atardeceres son de los mejores momentos que nos regala la vida. Y en esa fusión de colores, tú no notas donde termina uno y comienza el otro, todos se van degradando y uniéndose entre sí. Después de muchos intentos comprendí que la técnica para lograr ese efecto es hacer lo mismo con las pinturas.
Vas a colocar en el lienzo una considera cantidad de las pinturas que quieras unir, y sin miedo, comienzas a pintar. Como puedes observar en las fotos, inicié con la gama de los azules, desde un color más profundo a uno más claro.
Before I do any of these things, I do extensive research on Pinterest, one of the best apps you can find. I have an idea in my head of what I want to do, and I look there for inspiration. Obviously, it's not going to come out the way I found it, because everyone has to add their essence to what they do, but you have to start with something.
At the moment I don't have any canvases (I already have on my list to buy some), so I used a small square of white cardboard, so you can do it anywhere you can.
As you saw above, we will paint a beautiful sunset. The best thing about this painting is the sky, I love to keep it in mind, because sunrises and sunsets are some of the best moments that life gives us. And in that fusion of colors, you don't notice where one ends, and the other begins, they all degrade and join each other. After many attempts, I understood that the technique to achieve this effect is to do the same with the paints.
You are going to place on the canvas a considerable amount of the paints that you want to join, and without fear, you start painting. As you can see in the pictures, I started with the range of blues, from a deeper color to a lighter one.

Pero esto es un atardecer, y el azul no es suficiente. Además, yo vivo en una ciudad conocida por sus atardeceres, y necesito una diversidad de colores para que sea como los que a mí me gustan. Por esa razón, realicé una degradación de colores, y lo importante es que siga un patrón los colores que estás uniendo. Ejemplo, pasar de un rojo a verde no quedaría tan bien en este contexto, como hacerlo con un rojo, naranja y amarillo.
Así que uní un color lila, seguido de un fucsia, rojo, naranja y amarillo. Siguiendo un patrón que genera armonía cuando lo ves, tanto en el cielo como en una pintura. Y al igual que con los colores azules, poco a poco coloqué una gran cantidad de pintura y lo comencé a unir todo.
No es tan fácil, porque a veces se me perdían algunos tonos, pero solo debes agregar la pintura que necesites para que cada uno tenga su lugar. Así que no te desesperes, debes tener mucha paciencia, pero créeme que sí te va a salir bien.
But this is a sunset, and blue is not enough. Besides, I live in a city known for its sunsets, and I need a diversity of colors to make it like the ones I like. For that reason, I made a color degradation, and the important thing is that the colors you are joining follow a pattern. For example, going from red to green would not look as good in this context as going from red, orange, and yellow.
So I joined a lilac color, followed by a fuchsia, red, orange, and yellow. Following a pattern that generates harmony when you see it, both in the sky and in a painting. And just like with the blue colors, little by little I put a lot of paint and started to put it all together.
It is not so easy, because sometimes I missed some tones, but you just have to add the paint you need so that each one has its place. So don't despair, you must be very patient, but believe me it will turn out well.

Cuando ya había quedado satisfecha con los colores de mi atardecer, y esperé que la pintura se secara muy bien, pude comenzar a hacer los detalles. La segunda cosa que me emocionaba de esta pintura era la cerca, dado que debía jugar con la perspectiva para que me diera el efecto que buscaba.
Todo a partir de ahora será con color negro, porque se supone que es la sombras de los detalles que están en esa imagen, debido a que la luz está centrada en el cielo. Con la ayuda de un lápiz y regla dibujé la cerca, no quise hacerlo directamente con marcador porque no quería dañar nada.
En la segunda imagen puedes observar que los pilares hacia la izquierda serán pequeños y a medida que te acercas a la derecha se van a ir agrandando progresivamente, para darle esa perspectiva de lejos y cerca. Y para que los detalles quedaran perfectos, utilicé un marcador negro de punta fina.
When I was satisfied with the colors of my sunset, and I waited for the paint to dry very well, I could start making the details. The second thing that excited me about this painting was the fence, since I had to play with the perspective to get the effect I was looking for.
Everything from now on will be with black color, because it is supposed to be the shadows of the details that are in that image, because the light is centered in the sky. With the help of a pencil and ruler I drew the fence, I didn't want to do it directly with marker because I didn't want to damage anything.
In the second image you can see that the pillars to the left will be small and as you get closer to the right they will get progressively bigger, to give that perspective of distance. And to make the details perfect, I used a fine tip black marker.

Seguiremos con el color negro como nuestro mejor aliado para los siguientes detalles. Imagínate que estás sentado en ese césped, observando el atardecer, y arriba de ti hay un árbol dándote sombra, solo ves las ramas cubrirte por los lados. Y eso es lo que se busca conseguir acá (y creo que lo logré).
Nuevamente con un lápiz dibujé las ramas y sus hojas, no muy cargado, porque como ya mencioné, el protagonista es el cielo. También dibujé unas ramas desde el piso, recordando el modelo que había visto en Pinterest. Y todo lo volví a pintar con marcador, para realizar bien los detalles.
La diferencia de mi pintura con aquella idea que vi en la red social, es que el modelo base estaba hecho con cielo de colores pasteles, era algo más suave. Pero, personalmente, me gustan las pinturas intensas, que los colores estén bien marcados, y todo sea potente. Por eso, en vez de usar rosado o azul pastel, fui directo al fucsia y rojo. Que produzca una sensación profunda.

Imagine you are sitting on that lawn, watching the sunset, and above you there is a tree giving you shade, you only see the branches covering you from the sides. And that's what I'm trying to achieve here (and I think I succeeded).
Again with a pencil I drew the branches and their leaves, not too heavy, because as I mentioned, the protagonist is the sky. I also drew some branches from the ground, remembering the model I had seen on Pinterest. And I repainted everything with marker, to make the details well.
The difference of my painting with that idea I saw in the social network, is that the base model was made with pastel colors sky, it was a little softer. But, personally, I like intense paintings, that the colors are well-marked, and everything is powerful. That's why, instead of using pink or pastel blue, I went straight to fuchsia and red. That produces a deep feeling.

Y, hey, ¡eso fue todo!✨ Al final coloqué una pintura que agrega brillo. Y si no tienes de esto lo puedes hacer una mezcla de pega y un poquito de agua, también le dará un brillo bonito.
Al principio me pareció un poco complicado, pero a medida que lo fui creando me resultó tan sencillo, y disfruté cada paso. Esa es la razón por la cual quise compartirlo, a veces vemos algo muy creativo y pensamos que no tenemos el potencial para hacerlo por nuestra cuenta. Y es mentira. Si nos dedicamos a practicar, nuestra técnica irá mejorando poco a poco. Quizás al principio algo no te salga bien, pero es solo el comienzo, eres tú dando tus primeros pasos y luego aprenderás a caminar, después a correr, hasta que puedas hacer un montón de actividades.
Probablemente en el futuro siga realizando muchos paisajes, porque estar encerrada, tanto por las vacaciones como por la situación de mi país, me hace anhelar mucho más mi libertad. Siempre me ha gustado estar al aire libre, lejos de todo, pero como ahora no puedo estar físicamente allí, al menos con mi arte puedo escapar a un lugar hermoso por un rato. Aprovecharé estos momentos de creatividad e inspiración para exprimirlos lo más que pueda y hacer muchas cosas que me alegren la vida, así que quizás me vean por acá a menudo. Ya tengo varias ideas en mente.

At first, it seemed a bit complicated, but as I created it, it became so easy, and I enjoyed every step. That's the reason I wanted to share it, sometimes we see something very creative, and we think we don't have the potential to do it on our own. And that's a lie. If we dedicate ourselves to practice, our technique will improve little by little. Maybe at the beginning something doesn't go well, but it's just the beginning, it's you taking your first steps, and then you will learn to walk, then to run, until you can do a lot of activities.
I will probably continue to do a lot of landscapes in the future, because being locked up, both for vacations and for the situation in my country, makes me long for my freedom much more. I've always loved being outdoors, away from everything, but since I can't physically be there now, at least with my art I can escape to a beautiful place for a while. Likewise, I will take advantage of these moments of creativity and inspiration to squeeze as much as I can out of them and make lots of things that make my life happy, so maybe you will see me around here often. I already have several ideas in mind.
