Temptation
My luck already summons
the wholeness of your mouth.
My soul collapses,
in a yearning that is unbridled;
a word that ravishes,
a story of blindness
with fires in the temple.
I have tried to be impertinent,
to get you out insolently,
measuring consequence
to your very sly admission,
to your window's porch,
the portal of your hermitage
crespuscule of fury.
The self-absorbed terroir,
a passionate den,
laid out and forced,
to fulfill their temptation.
Posada in the window,
you showed a gesture
that I was prepared
to enter your hall.

Tentación
Mi suerte ya convoca
la entereza de tu boca.
Mi alma se desploma,
en un anhelo que desboca;
una palabra que delira,
un relato de ceguera
con fuegos en la sien.
Yo he tratado impertinente,
de sonsacarte insolente,
midiendo consecuencia
a tu admisión tan ladina,
al pórtico de tu ventana,
el portal de tu ermita
crespúsculo de furor.
El terruño ensimismado,
un cubil apasionado,
tendido y obligado,
a cumplir su tentación.
Posada en la ventana,
mostraste un ademán
que estaba preparado
para entrar en tu zaguán.
Author's note
Temptation is the impulse that is released at will. Sometimes just by being a corpuscle it becomes our monarch on his throne. In this poem I wanted to portray the experience of a young man, who, attracted by a beautiful girl, is tempted to enter the porch of his window where she is and with gestures invites him to visit her. This is the typical brief event that we see very commonly and that happens in many stories of forbidden love or sex for fun in discretion. I found it amusing to portray it in a poetic way since it is interesting for me to see how satire and feelings of anxiety are portrayed in a metaphorical way.

La tentación es el impulso que se libera a voluntad. A veces con solo ser un corpúsculo se convierte en nuestro monarca en su trono. En este poema quise retratar la experiencia de un joven, que atraído por una hermosa chica, se siente tentado a entrar al pórtico de su ventana donde ella se encuentra y con ademanes lo invita a visitarla. Este es el típico suceso breve que vemos muy comúnmente y que pasa en muchas historias de amor prohibido o de sexo por diversión en discreción. Me pareció divertido retratarlo de una manera poética ya que es interesante para mí ver como la sátira y los sentimientos de ansiedad son retratados de manera metafórica.
