Trabajar los sabados es muy agradable para mi, puesto que sólo se atienden 10 pacientes y es mucho mas organizado los pacientes están de mejor animo y la mañana fluye de la mejor manera. Cada 2 meses trabajamos los días sabados ya que todos deben pasar por este día de fin de semana para trabajar, inicie la mañna ordenando todo el campo operatoria de la mejor manera, buscando también todo lo necesario para trabajar como materiales, insumos y equipos.

Working on Saturdays is very pleasant for me, as only 10 patients are seen and it is much more organised, the patients are in a better mood and the morning flows in the best way. Every 2 months we work on Saturdays as everyone has to go through this weekend day to work, I start the morning by tidying up the whole operating field in the best way, also looking for everything necessary to work with such as materials, supplies and equipment.

Primeramente atendimos a una paciente que tenía una caries el espacio interproximal de su diente número 21, un incisivo central, debido a que la paciente tenía mucho apiñamiento y esto hace que la comida pueda acumularse con mayor frecuencia en esos espacios, por ello debemos usar el hilo dental, para no llegar ha sufrir la caries que presenta esta paciente. También algo preocupante de esta paciente era la gran gingivitis que tenía en su encía papilar causándole gran sangramiento debido a la gingivitis se acumula rápidamente el cálculo dental.

Firstly, we attended to a patient who had a caries in the interproximal space of her tooth number 21, a central incisor, due to the fact that the patient was very crowded and this means that food can accumulate more frequently in these spaces, which is why we must use dental floss, so as not to suffer from the caries that this patient had. Another worrying aspect of this patient was the large amount of gingivitis she had in her papillary gum, causing a lot of bleeding, as gingivitis causes dental calculus to accumulate quickly.

Este segundo paciente presentaba gran acumulación de calculo dental en la cara lingual de los incisivos centrales inferiores, cuando no se tiene una adecuada higiene bucal y técnica del cepillado deficiente la placa bacteriana se acumula calcificandose por completo, por lo que debemos removerla con scaler y ultrasonidos o con los raspadadores para quitar completo el cálculo dental, en este paciente se noto una gran diferencia cuando ya se logro quitar el calculo dental quedando saneado por completo.

This second patient had a large accumulation of dental calculus on the lingual side of the lower central incisors, when there is not adequate oral hygiene and poor brushing technique, bacterial plaque accumulates and calcifies completely, so we must remove it with scaler and ultrasound or with scrapers to completely remove the dental calculus, in this patient a big difference was noticed when it was possible to remove the dental calculus and it was completely healed.

También se nos presento una paciente con un absceso la cual ya había estado medicada y cumplió por completo su tratamiento, por lo que el absceso ya estaba drenando y la Doctora termino de drenarlo por completo, pudimos observar que no se encontraba en su interior secrecion purulenta (pus), sino sangre lo que nos permitió determinar que ya la infección ha cesado.

We were also presented with a patient with an abscess who had already been on medication and had fully complied with her treatment, so the abscess was already draining and the doctor finished draining it completely, we were able to observe that there was no purulent secretion (pus) inside it, but blood, which allowed us to determine that the infection had ceased.

Por último se nos presento una paciente para la extracción de un 46, ya había cumplido la medicación pero el proceso infeccioso seguía instaurado por completo, lo que generó mucho dolor al momento de extraerla pero era totalmente normal, al salir por completo el molar nos dimos cuenta que tenía un absceso periapical aguado de buen tamaño, la paciente me agarro la mano con gran fuerza por todo el gran dolor que sentía por eso siempre debemos.

Finally, a patient came to us for the extraction of a 46, she had already completed the medication but the infectious process was still fully established, which generated a lot of pain at the time of extraction but it was totally normal, when the molar came out completely we realised that she had a good sized watery periapical abscess, the patient grabbed my hand with great force because of the great pain she felt, that is why we always have to.
