Hi there everyone, TheRingMaster is back again today and although I'm through with my blog for today, I got invited into a wonderful contest on Ecency, one of the very best platforms on earth and community on Hive.
I got invited by a good friend of mine @iaiman and I also invite my good buddy @tydynrain to join the contest.
Well If you ask me what Ecency is, I've got one good word "EMPOWERMENT".
Empowerment is the first word I think of when I see Ecency. It is not just another social media platform but a revolutionary venue where every user can build, share and earn. I am a testament to this.
If you look at my blogs, you'd realize the level of freedom I have to express myself and my honest opinions on topics that matters a lot to me. As an introvert I barely go out and barely make friends but here on Ecency I have so many friends.
Infact it's deserving of being mentioned in this blog that I've got so many great free gifts from very good friends of mine. Today one friend of mine @geneeverett out of love and respect for the effort I put into my work on Hive delegated 1000hp to me. Other friends have delegated, given me free gifts, tokens, HSBI and all the love and respect you can imagine.
And I'm only 2 months old on Hive so I'm super grateful
This is something I never got on platforms like Facebook and TikTok. The Ecency frontend is so well built that it allows me to effectively engage and make so many friends. I share my views freely and honestly I think there's quite a lot of people here that really share similar views with me.
I've become a better blogger, more knowledgeable and know more people thanks to Ecency on Hive. This is what I'm talking about when I say empowerment.
It's a beautiful community that upholds freedom of speech. In contrast with mainstream social media like the ones I mentioned above that regularly suppresses content and manipulates it, Ecency is based on Hive blockchain which of course you don't need me to tell you all about its benefits to users.
We are empowered with freedom from centralization, freedom to express ourselves, and freedom to interact with genuine stories of human experiences.
One thing it did a lot was to get me out of my comfort zone and people that attend the HHH live shows on discord would definitely know exactly what I'm talking about. I am an introvert so high chance when there's a social gathering I'm not going to talk but they motivated me to do so and I'm getting more comfortable with being uncomfortable. This is empowerment and I love it.
Well if I could add another word I would definitely say Ecency is "ADDICTIVE" I'm pretty sure those are the top of the Ecency leaderboard and my dearest Ecency mentor @melinda010100 would understand what I mean... I'm totally addicted in a good way to Ecency and at the moment I spend even more time on Ecency and Hive than on Platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
Now if someone is spending more time on a platform than on TikTok you definitely know that's a big deal because we all know TikTok is the most addictive, don't ask me, ask US congress, hehehehe
Ecency truly is the future and I can't wait to see how many more people get empowered with this platform.
So my answer to the contest of what Ecency means to me?
- Ecency Is EMPOWERMENT
