Before discussing the match, we will discuss the Ruleset used this time, UP CLOSE & PERSONAL with 20 Mana. UP CLOSE & PERSONAL is where Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles (Ranged and Magic cannot be used).
My Line-Up (Fire Team again?)
Cards | Ability | Reason |
---|---|---|
+1 Melee Attack & +1 Health to All Allies | Summoners that are very compatible with this Ruleset (as long as the enemy does not use Mylor) | |
Shield (Lv1) | Blocks the attack of the Monster of the opponent who is in first position | |
None (Lv1) | As a Sacrifice before the enemy's attack hits Serpentine Spy | |
Opportunity (Lv1) | Monster with Melee attack which has the fastest speed in Phantom Starter Pack for Fire element | |
Sneak (Lv1) | has high Health for Monsters that have the Sneak ability | |
Sneak (Lv1) | withstand 2 enemy attacks that have the Sneak ability |
BATTLE START !!!
Enemies use Tarsa too (90% as I expected, considering the Ruleset which limits only Melee Attack based monsters that can be used). The monsters used are almost the same (Monsters in the first position have the Shield ability, Monsters in the last position are the ones being sacrificed, Tenyii Striker are in the last 2 positions). After all abilities have been applied......
The monster that gets the chance to attack first is Serpentine Spy (the Opportunity ability will let him attack the Monster with the lowest Health) and we both use it.
The way to determine who will attack first if they have the same Speed is Magic attacks first then Melee/Range. If Magic does not exist / has finished attacking, the determination of who will attack first is done randomly.
Luckily my Serpentine Spy was the first to attack (and destroy the opponent's). If it belongs to the opponent who attacks first, then the result will be different...... (See FULL BATTLE LINK)
There were 2 Splinters left on the opposing side, and Luck was on my side again. My Uraeus gives a first attack to the opponent's Tenyii Striker before he finishes off Uraeus..... (See FULL BATTLE LINK)
My Serpentine Spy doesn't give the opponent's Tenyii Striker a chance to attack. While in the leading position, Antoid Platoon finally had to fall by the attack launched by Living Lava....... (See FULL BATTLE LINK)

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
This time my Strategy didn't work very well, it's just that luck was on my side this time. In the future, it might be wise if I rent Creeping Ooze in order to get maximum results (and not depend on luck).
Do you Like Serpentine Spy? (MVP for This Match)
I really liked it since the first time I played @splinterlands. Has 3 Mana, a fairly high Speed, and the Opportunity skill that makes it playable in almost every Ruleset. His best partner when Phantom Starter Packs was still from the Beta & Untamed Edition was Cerberus.
That was my discussion about Share Your Battle this time. Not all wins are due to the cards used or positioning, sometimes Luck plays a role in it. Maybe in the next Share Your Battle I will discuss victory because the enemy often fails to hit. And see you in the next post....
