Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Second Battle

Namaste to all the warriors of Splinterlands!🙏

It's only been a few days since I purchased the spellbook and to be honest, the more I learn about it, the more this game is attracting me. Because even a child can play this game, but to win in it you have to use your brain, which is very exciting. :)
This is my entry to the weekly social media challenge For this week, I chose my second battle on Splinterlands after purchasing the Spellbook.

Since purchasing the spellbook a few days ago, I have been trying to understand this game and I really liked the way the developers taught us everything step by step in this game in an easy and fun way. And because the developers also understand that, without getting into the battlefield, one cannot learn the skills to win the battle. That's why they created this masterclass where we can easily clear the basics of this game.

Although there are other ways to reach this classroom, for now, I will tell you how to access it from the home page of the website.

This is the home page of the Splinterlands website.
As soon as you scroll down a little, you will see these 3 options.
Here, as soon as you click on the option How to Battle on the left, a new page will open in front of you, where you will be given some basic information about the game.
Soon after you click on Learn More another page opens and tells you about the type of cards.
Make sure that you read the information written on each page once because your army (Team) will be prepared based on this.
On this page you have to click on Play Tutorial and then just follow the system.

I had saved photos of every step of that tutorial but now I feel that if you go there yourself and experience it, you will enjoy it even more and you will understand why I liked this tutorial so much.

Now I understood that I might lose some battles but it would be easier and more fun to understand things on the battlefield. So let's discuss the second battle I fought after understanding the basics from that amazing tutorial.

Since I am completely new here, in my first battle, I chose the summoner of the same element that my opponent had chosen instead of experimenting with something new. But this time I had to do something different because to get better, it was necessary to understand the power of each element and the monsters associated with it.

The total mana cap for this battle was 32, including the summoner's mana cost.

Summonerdetails
I chose the summoner of the death element whose name is Reklah and mana cost was 5.
Rule set (Standard: no modification)Meaning
In this rule set, there is no limitation or restriction, you can use any monster or summoner in the battle.

The reason behind choosing Reklah as my summoner was his budget mana cost and his powers of taking 2 lives of 2 monsters and giving reflection shield to 2 monsters. Although I could probably use one of these but these powers also benefited me in the battle. After this, I started choosing my fire creatures (Monsters).

1st position (Helheim Demon)Ability
Flying and Taunt

2nd position (Venari Spellsmith)Ability
Dispel

3rd position (Life Sapper)Ability
Life Leech

4th position (Moxian Rebel)Ability
Weapons Tranning

I created my team by using all my mana cap with these monsters.

Now I will take you to my battle!

Round 1

The battle begins as soon as the monsters receive power from their respective summoner. I used my summoner's life-taking ability, but the opponent's summoner had a life-giving ability, due to which my summoner's ability was not as effective.

At first glance, I thought the opponent's team was stronger and more numerous and that I would probably lose the battle. But till the end of the first round, nothing happened to any monster of my team, but the opponent's first monster had lost its 5 lives. It was really surprising!

Round 2

As you can see in the above image, the opponent's first monster was knocked out at the beginning of the second round. But the opponent's team still had more monsters than me. Here's what I noticed about my third monster's 'Life Leech' power, every time it damages the opponent's health, its own health increases by one.
Apart from this, again no major changes took place till the end of the second round.

Round 3

At the beginning of the third round, another opponent monster was knocked out and all four of my monsters still stood strong. It was truly a proud moment for me as a beginner. 😊

Round 4

By now the monster at the front of my team had lost 2 health and the monster standing at number three had increased 3 health due to its Life Leech ability. Then again, at the beginning of the 4th round, another opponent monster was knocked out and now the opponent had only 3 monsters left.

Round 5

Then at the beginning of the fifth round, another of the opponent's monsters was destroyed by my first monster. You can see that iconic defeat in the photo above. 😄
Now I was quite sure that I would win this battle!

Round 6

After being beaten throughout the fifth round, another opponent's iconic defeat took place at the beginning of the sixth round. My 3rd place monster's health has increased by 5 since the beginning.
Now the opponent had only one monster left, whom my team beat so badly in the sixth round that even I felt pity for him. 😅

Round 7

Then taking the tradition further, the opponent's last monster was also knocked out at the beginning of the 7th round.

Conclusion

At my level, I learned from this battle that it is not a bigger army but a more competent army that gives you the edge in the war. My monsters had some amazing abilities like many of the opponent's attacks missed on my 1st position monster. Additionally, my third monster (Life Sapper) had the Life Leech ability, which caused his health to increase several times during the battle.

I don't know what mistake the opponent made because I am completely new here. But I have understood that monster selection is a very important part of winning a battle. It will be difficult to understand and memorize so many abilities and monsters but these difficulties are what make this game exciting and fun. ❤️

You can enjoy my entire battle here
