Hello Splinterlands Artists
For this week’s Splinterland Art Contest, what I decided to draw is the Harbinger of Chaos.

At first glance, this Monster appears to be of the Death Element, but in reality, it is of the Life Element. It has a strong Magic attack and an Ability called Divine Shield, which is very useful in battles. However, Harbinger of Chaos has quite high mana consumption, so you might find it a bit challenging to fit it into your lineup.
So let’s get started on how I made this Fan art.
So, the first thing I did was make a rough sketch of how I wanted to draw it.
Once I got my desired sketch, I thickened the outline.
It was a bit difficult to blend the outline because I used a charcoal brush.
After completing the outline, I gradually started coloring the parts of Harbringer of Chaos.
Of course, as usual, I first colored the parts with the main color so I could easily edit the shading later.
Since I used a Charcoal Brush, I couldn’t avoid making many mistakes while coloring, so I had to erase several times.
After finishing the main color, I started shading with light and dark shades, depending on which part I was coloring.
When I finished shading, I decided to add an effect to the ball on its staff with a pink color, giving it a slightly energy effect.
Then it was time for the background. I only made a basic background, outlining rays and adding a gradient in the background.
I also added shadows to enhance its beauty.
This is my final artwork, and I hope you liked it.
