The Quilliun legionary is a very powerful card. It is one of the Rebellion reward cards that were just recently released. It is a ranged attack card with impressive stats. It is not only incredible, it is versatile as well. Let us take a deep dive into what this card has to offer.
Quilliun Legionary deals 2 ranged attacks in one strike. So this means that in one strike, it could eliminate an enemy unit that has a health of 2 without armor or in just two strike, it can eliminate an enemy unit with a health of 4 without armor. That's massive.
This monster also has one armor and a health of 8. Both stats combined give this card longevity in battle. It is not one of those monsters that can be easily eliminated in battle. In fact, by the time it gets eliminated in battle, it must have wreaked enough havoc for the opponent to give you an advantage towards winning the battle.
It has a speed of 2, which in my opinion, is fair for a monster of its calibre. This card costs 8 mana and I think it is totally worth it.
Quilliun Legionary gets different awesome abilities at different levels. At level one, it has the close range ability. For a ranged attack card, this ability is a very superb one because it removes a limitation which ranged attack monsters face. Normally, Ranged attack monsters have to perform their duties from far away. They are not effective in the first position (tank) or front row of battle. They are not for up close attacks.
However, with the close range ability, this monster is now able to carry out attacks from the first position in battle. Isn't that amazing? Hence, this ability combined with its impressive armor and health stat, makes this monster, a ranged attack monster, a good fit for the tank position.
By level 2, it gets the thorns ability, meaning that when it gets hit with a melee attack, it retaliates with 2 damages back to the attacking unit.
At level 4, it adds the void ability. This ability lets it reduce the damage it suffers from magic attacks by half. In addition, the health of this monster increases to 9 in this level.
By level 8, it gets the bloodlust ability. This is another cool ability because each time it eliminates an enemy unit, it adds +1 to all its stats. To think that Quilliun Legionary already has impressive stats, adding to those stats makes it a really formidable unit in battle. Furthermore, at this level, it's health increases to 11 and the armor increases to 2.
You can see that the Quilliun Legionary is not a card to be underestimated or overlooked in battle. Its potential to influence the outcome of battles is great. It is versatile, as it can be used both in the front and back row, it has good stats and abilities. There is no doubt whatsoever that this card offers so much.
