Rebellion Reward Card Review: Drybone Megaladon

Drybone Megaladon is no doubt one of a kind. It has the stats and abilities that impact battles massively. It is one rebellion reward card that I am delighted to review. Let's get into details.

Drybone Megaladon is a melee attack card of the fire element. It has a massive melee attack of power 3. With this kind of stat, it can deplete the entire health of several units in just one or two strikes. It has 3 armors and a health of 6. This makes it a good candidate for the tanks position since it is a melee attack card which is good for close up attack.

Of course, melee and ranged attacks will have to hit the armor first before its health is even touched. With that shield and health, it can stay longer in the battle, making things difficult for the opponent

It also has a speed of 2 at level 1, which is moderate for this monster. This card costs 8 mana.

At level one, Drybone Megaladon has the flank ability. This means that if it is occupying the first position in battle, the unit in the second position gets the reach ability. To elaborate further, melee attack cards are usually suitable for the front row (consisting of the first and second position). They can't attack enemy units far away. They can only attack enemy units in the front row.

However, with the reach ability, melee attack cards become capable of attacking enemy units far away. So whether it is in first or second position, it can attack enemy units located in the last position.

By level 4, it gets the retaliate ability. This gives it a fifty percent chance of immediately attacking back when it is hit with a melee attack. Also, in this level, it's health increases to 7, its speed increases to 3, and its melee attack goes up to 4, making it a really dangerous monster to any opponent.

By level 8, it adds the thorns ability. This ability ensures that when it is hit with a melee attack, it does 2 melee damage back to the attacking unit. You can see that with this thorns ability and the retaliate ability, it responds very well and fiercely to melee attacks.

Also, at this level, its health has increased to 10 and its armor has increased to 4. This is massive considering the fact that I cannot easily be eliminated from battle with such stats. It will stay longer to cause the damage it was designed to do. Its speed also increases to 4, making it even faster.

In conclusion, the Drybone Megaladon is an impact monster. It is the kind of monster you put in the front row of battle and not regret it. With its various abilities at several levels, it tends to become indispensable in battles. Its melee attacks alone serves fatal blows to enemy units without too many efforts.
