SUPPLY RUNNER

Você gosta do card SUPPLY RUNNER?

SUPPLY RUNNER

A closer look at the featured card

image.png

Being a neutral card, we can use it with any element in battles. Like other monsters that initially don't have any abilities, I notice that this type of minion usually has better stats, whether it's higher attack, speed, or health.

I believe this is to make up for the lack of starting skills.

One thing I'm sure is that when you get to levels 5 and 10, SUPPLY RUNNER gains 2 skills, respectively in each of these levels, which help your team a lot. I'll talk about them shortly.

So, it's a very interesting card because of that, it has pretty cool stats, which make up for its use in battles and as you level up, it becomes a more efficient support to help your team!

Synergy With Summoners

kelya_frendul_260x366.png

Regarding Summoners, I bet a lot on synergy with the water element and with KELYA FRENDUL, where gaining speed and defense, SUPPLY RUNNER can stay alive longer.

To give you an idea, at level 1 with KELYA, he already has 4 speed, so he can apply his 2 damage first and has the increased chance of dodging. Also with 1 defense gain, he can hold 1 physical attack.

general_sloan.png

With GENERAL SLOAN, the focus is not on surviving but on defeating your opponents! Since with the +1 ranged attack buff, he will do much more damage. At level 1, he would already deal 3 damage!

Obviously, we can use other cards to help SUPPLY RUNNER survive, such as DJINN RENOVA and its ability to grant +1 health to allies or our dear TIME MAGE, which takes 1 speed from enemies so we can start attacking first .

Skills

Now, showing the skills that SUPPLY RUNNER has, we can already see that it is oriented to be a kind of support with damage. I've said this a few times, if we could accurately categorize a card, I'd say it fits into a SUPPORT-FINISHER.

Name
Description
image.png
Swiftness
“Available from at level 5, grants +1 speed to all allies! Can you imagine the combo with KELYA FRENDUL? At least +2 speed for the entire team!”
Name
Description
image.png
Strengthen
“Available upon arrival at level 10 (maximum), grants +1 health to all allies! Again with a very good skill that can be used in conjunction with other monsters.”

In this way, we can see how SUPPLY RUNNER becomes a useful card to support the team that participates, without neglecting the possibility of causing damage to opponents.

Overview - Buffs and Debuffs Applied

Escalation

kelya_frendul_260x366.png

As I said at the beginning, the synergy with KELYA FRENDUL is amazing and it's not even that difficult to achieve, with her +1 speed and defense buff skills, it's easy to fit several monsters into battles.

In this case, my SUPPLY RUNNER is at level 3 and it has an incredible 5 speed and health and with one more defense, it becomes a very resistant card and ready to attack!

diemonshark_260x366.png

The strategy used here is the default for almost all battles, DIEMONSHARK is the best tank I have for the water element and that's why it enters 99% of the time in the first position.

Taking advantage of KELYA FRENDUL's speed and defense buffs, the high number of defense, in addition to the Enrage further increasing speed and melee attack, it would be possible to create a card with a lot of speed and attack and that would pass over any opponent.

flying_squid.png

Whenever I have available mana, I like to put the FLYING SQUID in second, taking advantage of its Reach ability, I consider this a standard card to use in every battle or as we call it, an essential card.

Despite his image being level 1, being at level 3 his attack also reaches the value of 3, so we have a monster with 8 health, 4 speed with the buff and 3 attack, attacking from the first round. That's awesome!

deeplurker.png

Another card that I consider essential, this one has the ability Opportunity, that is, it focuses on the opponent's monsters with the lowest health at the moment.

High attack and good to finish, these characteristics are what make DEEPLURKER enter almost all battles, being our finisher.

I placed it in third position because I consider it the most protected and with that, he can make the party knocking down his opponents.

nerissa_tridawn.png

Since we have mana, let's spend it! A sensational epic card, with the ability to directly deal 3 damage to opponents' life and still with 9 health, being able to hold the game, despite activating Enrage on enemies, I still consider it very good to deal so much damage directly .

I put it in the fourth position, because it becomes the monster that will take the damage if it gets to the first position, so it will still be able to attack and protect the monsters that will come later, which will be the long-range ones.

supply_runner.png

And here he is, opening the front of cards with ranged attack, I put him in fifth position because of everything I've written here for you: attack, speed and health.

In my case, I have the card at level 3, its speed with the buff is 5, so doing 2 damage is almost always being one of the first to attack, it is a good guarantee that we will defeat an opponent and this will help us and much to keeping our allies alive.

axemaster.png

Finally, another very powerful epic that I really enjoy climbing: AXEMASTER! It can apply up to 4 damage per turn, as it has the Double Strike ability, so it can attack 2 times in the same turn.

Again, taking advantage of the +1 speed buff, he gets to 5, being able to quickly finish opponents. It was even risky to leave it for last, being able to suffer for monsters with Sneak ability, but normally it's where I put the long-range attack monsters.

Replay and Battle

Link to view ⚔️Replay⚔️

ROUND 1

image.png

At the beginning of the battle I already found the opposing squad very strange, with 4 monsters with 1 and 2 health. Even using a Summoner that only grants +1 defense to everyone, honestly when I saw it I already imagined it would be victory, because of so many monsters with low health.

In the first turn, AXEMASTER already took the first opponent monster and the rest of the team did that bad treatment on CURSED WINDEKU, leaving it with only 1 life.

AXEMASTER parried an attack and took damage afterwards, getting an incredible 8 speed!

ROUND 2

image.png

AXEMASTER is the star of the team, and again, starting to attack first, he already took the first and second position monsters to the ditch, here the game was practically over.

DIEMONSHARK fried the chicken (CARRION SHADE) that was in the third position and ended up in the first.

In this same turn, we said goodbye to SILENT SHA-VI, so that's right, general lay down and only one opponent left!

ROUND 3

image.png

A true massacre, AXEMASTER laid down the opposing team almost entirely by itself, with 8 speed and dealing 4 damage per round. He did the honors and delivered the final blow in victory.

As he also said, the opponent's choices were very strange and that made it much easier.

Well, merit of a well-assembled team, the victory came easy for home!

divisor_agua.png

Considerations

Did your strategy work? Would you try something different next time?

Needless to say much, the strategy turned out the way I wanted. I simply ran over my opponent with ease and didn't lose any allied monsters.

Maybe if it had come from the earth element and a lot of magic, I would have lost, but the opponent's choices were really strange and that made the whole battle process even easier.

Do you like the SUPPLY RUNNER card?

A very cool card to scale for battles, I believe its cost benefit is well balanced and when possible to reach level 5 or 10, it becomes a sensational card with great support for the team.

I'm still far from getting there at this level, but until then, I take advantage of him in battles, always trying to find the best possible way to use and defeat opponents!
