I'm recently figuring out ways to invest a bit more in my Gold Foil Collection. A couple of years ago, I spent a lot of time on the Algorand Blockchain, but somehow lost sight of it a little bit.
When visiting Tinyman Exchange again after a while, I noticed there was an Airdrop of Tinyman's own TINY token. As I've been contributing liquidity to the Dex for multiple years now, the Airdrop was at least not totally useless ;-)
I immediately started swapping it for Stables and converted my dust to Algorand - and used all of it to provide liquidity. When browsing Tinyman a little bit, I noticed there's new incentives: you can use your Liquidity Pool tokens to gain additional rewards in TINY / ALGO and others.
So, what now? I wanted to have DEC for Splinterlands on HIVE and not additional assets in Algorand (although I really like the Blockchain). In the end, the way is quick and also kind of simple. The steps I've done to have DEC:
- Swap Rewards on Tinyman for USDC
- Send USDC to Binance on Algorand (you can select the blockchain when configuring where to receive the USDC; Wallets->Spot->Deposit->USDC on Mobile App)
- Swap USDC on Binance for HIVE (Trade->Convert on Mobile APp)
- Send HIVE to Hive Blockchain (Wallets->Crypto->Hive->Withdraw->Send via Crypto Network on Mobile App; address is your hive username, no memo needed)
- Deposit on Hive Engine, buy DEC with HIVE
It's really good to have this additional way of getting some DEC on my accounts, because I wanted to reduce FIAT usage.
