Today was an exciting day. Today, the Lily Shieldpaw card was airdropped to those who had bought chaos legion packs from splinterlands. So, if you have bought chaos packs from the game website, do check if you have got those.
I got a normal foil and a gold foil. One each. Well, to be honest, I expected more normal foils but yea, getting a gold foil was really good enough to remove the disappointment. So, I send the card to 'sayee' and now that it is present in the bronze league, it was easy to play with it without the need to level up.
How is Lily Shieldpaw in action?

Well, to be honest, I played three games and I lost. When I studied the games, I understood that when we use Lily as a summoner, we should use a tank monster with heavy life so as to guard the ones in the back. The ones in the back should have great speed otherwise, it can be defeated easily.
Unlike Zaku, which is still the most powerful card in splinterlands according to me, Lily is nowhere near and dragon rulesets are not very common. So, there is that but it remains to be seen if Lily can do more damage in brawls and if that happens, it can change the game. Also, I used my Lily in Bronze league. Those who use it in the Champion league will have to be careful.
Anyways, I will wait for the price of normal foil to drop before maxing my normal foil summoner. (hopefully)
I still remember buying Yodin Zaku for 12$ and a level 3 for 200$. So, there is that. We cannot even imagine Zaku being sold at that price now.

I am hoping to test Lily more and then will decide whether to level it up or just buy another dragon summoner. I have joined the Oblivion guild from Sayee and I hope I can do well in brawls.
I never intended to leave splinterlands and even if I do not play in the top or am classified as an average player, I can still play for my own entertainment, right?
Well, Lily does have some abilities but with so many cards having various abilities that can destroy your team in seconds, it is always good to have a tank heal and resurrect to protect the team. Also, Lily might do better in the 99 ruleset rather than the smaller ones, of course.
