Just celebrate my birthday last week and has taken a break for blogging for a while. But now I am back for this week's Community Engagement Challenge to tell the origin story of Olivia of the Brook, one of the recent Rebellion Rewards card and how was she able to obtain the Mimic ability.

Olivia of the Brook was once a citizen of the Kingdom of Lyveria, a monarchy ruled by the Wilhelm family. They were an Anuman royalty, hailing from the continent of Anumun but after the powerful Wizards Council that maintains the balance of Splinterlands suddenly vanished, the land of Praetoria was revealed to every nations and the Kingdom of Lyveria begins their conquest of the land. Eventually, they laid claim most of the western portion of Broken Land's Western Lowlands with Wilhemldale declared as the capital of the kingdom, named after its late ruler.
Arival of the Chaos Empire.
That was until the Chaos Empire, a gargantuan stratocratic autocracy suddenly emerge out of nowhere and begins their conquest of Praetoria and its neighboring lands. Eventually, the Chaos Empire has finally laid their eyes on Lyveria, sending an army of chaos. To fight the threat of the Empire, many of the Lyverian citizens were conscripted to the Lyverian Military. Among them was the Druid Timotai who was the father Olivia who just reached her coming of age. However, against the threat of the Chaos Empire, the Lyverian Kingdom stands no chance and even though Timotai has already predicted it, he resolve himself to fight for his country to the end but he doesn't want Olivia to be caught up in the battle so he asked her to escape but Olivia persisted to stay and fight together with him. With no means of convincing Olivia, Timotai was forced to knocked her out and asked Cloudy to carry her out the Kingdom.
After a while, the army of Chaos has finally reached the Kingdom of Lyveria and immediately turn it to a battlefield. The Lyverian army fought until their final strength but they were easily defeated by the empire. Just the next day after the invasion, the Kingdom of Lyveria has fallen.

At the same time, Olivia finally wakes up from her sleep to only see that they were already far from the Kingdom. Quickly, she tries to go but upon reaching close to the Kingdom, she saw that the flags on the walls were already replaced by the Chaos Empire's flag, signifying that the Kingdom of Lyveria was no more. With no Kingdom to return to, Olivia chooses to stay on the wilderness and to survive, she learns how to forage but despite this, she did not lose hope and every day, she spends her time to master the druidic magic that her father has though into her, to become stronger and someday liberate the citizens of her country from oppression.
As her powers grew, she begins to strike the empire depots, patrols, and outposts to loot for items and foods which she will give to the people. This has eventually made the Chaos Empire became conscious of her and place bounty on her head and yet, they were still unable to capture her.
One day, on one of her reconnaissance for her next target, she saw the arrival of Doctor Blight on one of the Chaos Empire's stronghold, carrying a mysterious chest. He placed it on a room which is heavily guarded by guards. Given how guarded the room is, Olivia has deem that whatever was inside the chest was very important so when she finds the opportunity, she begins to sneak into the stronghold, placing the guards in the sleep using her magic. After securing the area, she finally opens the room to where the chest is located and takes the chests but unbeknown to her, Doctor Blight has placed a spell on the chest that will trigger an alarm upon touching it which has alerted the Cursed Windekus, patrolling outside the stronghold.
Outnumbered and cornered, for the first time, Olivia is on the brink of being captured but then Cloudy knocks the chest out of Olivia's hand which resulted for the chest to open when it fall to the ground. Inside it was an emblem with an image of a brain and when Olivia touches it, a sudden surge of power enters her body as the emblem slowly vanish. Soon after, the Cursed Windekus has arrived to capture Olivia but all of a sudden Olivia was able to gain the skills of Cursed Windeku which gives her the ability to heal and slow the opponents and using it, she was able to escape from the stronghold.
Since then, Olivia gains the ability to copy any types of abilities that her opponent has and with this newly found power, she and Cloudy continues to strike the bases of the Chaos Empire to continue to loot for things that she can give to the people. Because of this she became known as Olivia of the Brook and became the symbol of freedom. Through her actions, Olivia was able to inspire the people of Lyveria to find their own courage and realize that they too can stand up and battle for their freedom.
