Splinterland's Battle Challenge: Carrion Shade.
This week Splinterland's Battle challenge featured CarrionShade that belong to the Death Splinter.
Since I generally do not play the Death Summoner , so I rarely have death cards at higher levels. But this was not the case to worry for me as I we have rental market from where you can take the desired using DEC.
So I got the level 3 Carrion shade by using .31 DEC (just a fraction of DEC ) and it has "flying" ability too.
My main idea is to make my team using the Dragon Summoner but I thought, I can go for Thaddius Brood too as it cost only 1.84 DEC in rental.
As for other cards goes, I have never sold my rewards cards and I keep stacking them, so I am good to take challenge using them + Neutral cards.
And finally , I used my team having Carrion Shade in it.
If you see, that I got a low mana battle and I decided to use Nightmare at first position that has blast ability. I put Furious Chicken as a filler at second position. Shadow Hunter is another 1 mana card that I think is good fill before I put 2 mana card Fallen Specter. Again I used 2 mana card that have sneak ability "Undead Badger" . In the last I put Carrion Shade that have "flying ability" so that Carrion Shade give me protection at tail.
When the first round complete, we both lost the tail monster and I think fight is still wide open.
My "Nightmare" just survived in round 2 as Haunted spirit missed it attack on it. Let see how round 3 goes.
I guess , I am winning here because my fallen specter will be going first. So Haunted Spirit will be down at first shot and Dhampir Stalker will be just a punching bag for Fallen Specter. Opponent Furious Chicken at the end will at most hit once. So my victory is here imminent.
