A Voucher is a type of benefit that is given to Splinterlands players who stake SPS or have In-Game Node Licenses, totaling 20k for those who stake and 20k for node license holders. Recently, changes have been happening with this Voucher token and the biggest one is the emergence of a Voucher Shop. Come check out everything about it!

Changes to the Voucher
Many changes have been happening to the Voucher, which have impacted its use and consequently its price. Currently, the token, which had hit almost $0.02, is returning to $0.01, losing 50% of its value. The reason for this is that the token's main uses have been removed. Now you can no longer use Vouchers to buy Wild Pass, you can no longer get a discount when buying Splinterlands packs, and you can no longer use them to purchase energy, which was a way to stabilize the value of the Voucher in relation to the SPS gain in matches.
The reason for this is that in most of these uses, the Voucher ended up being a cheaper option than the game's main token, which is the DEC, causing people not to use it and thus not creating the Flywheel effect since this "stable" did not return to the PEG of $1 = 1000 DEC. Without stable DEC, there is no conversion of SPS to DEC since the loss would be too great and thus the main token does not receive the inflow of resources into the game.
Also, it is worth remembering that the voucher has become an in-game token and can no longer be "withdrawn" from the game. In my opinion, this would make everyone who has an SPS stake reevaluate whether it is worth continuing, since the 11% mentioned there would be considering the Voucher that no longer has any value since it can no longer be withdrawn for sale. Furthermore, I imagine the users who believed in the initial project of the token and bought the Node Licenses and that after 2 years they will no longer receive SPS and only Vouchers...
However, so that the Voucher would not be without any function, the team created a voucher shop, a way to give utility to the token by offering items in another store. There are currently 9 different stores within Splinterlands, each with a function, but this ends up making it more complex for a new player, because you earn SPS and Glint in battles and there is a Glint Shop, then you earn Voucher and have the voucher shop, you earn merit and you have the guild boosters. Why not combine everything into a single token that generates value for the main token, the SPS?
Voucher Shop
A new shop, called Lyra & Lorn's, has been added to the available in-game shops, one more, which will now be for Vouchers. This shop will allow you to exchange your vouchers for exclusive cards. The question that remains is whether this benefit and exclusivity will be enough for the large supply of existing vouchers. This is a very peculiar issue because it breaks the trust of the player-investor who believed that the token would have X utility and now it is Y. However, exclusive cards, if they are strong and capable of changing the game's meta, will make users seek to stake more SPS and buy node licenses to have access to the vouchers after the market supply runs out.
The card that is currently available is Mana Warden, costing 30 BCX vouchers each, and if you buy 25 units you are guaranteed a gold foil. This is a very interesting card, because it brings a new ability called Shield Ward, which grants the unit in front of it Shield, not to mention that this card is dual attribute, which gives even more flexibility.

Mudanรงas no Voucher
Muitas mudanรงas vem acontecendo com o Voucher, que impactaram o seu uso e consequentemente o seu preรงo. Atualmente o token que tinha batido quase $0,02, estรก voltando para os $0,01, perdendo 50% do seu valor. O motivo disso รฉ que as principais utilidades do token foram retiradas, agora vocรช nรฃo pode usar mais Vouchers para comprar Wild Pass, nรฃo pode mais ter desconto ao comprar packs do splinterlands e nรฃo pode mais usรก-los para adquirir energia, que era uma forma de estabilizar o valor do Voucher com relaรงรฃo ao ganho de SPS nas partidas.
O motivo disso รฉ que em grande parte desses usos o Voucher acabava sendo uma opรงรฃo mais barata do que o prรณprio token principal do jogo que รฉ o DEC, fazendo com que as pessoas nรฃo o usassem e assim nรฃo criasse o efeito Flywheel jรก que essa "stable" nรฃo voltava ao PEG de $1 = 1000 DEC. Sem o DEC estรกvel nรฃo hรก conversรฃo de SPS para em DEC jรก que a perda seria muito grande e assim o token principal nรฃo recebe a entrade de recursos no jogo.
Ainda, vale lembrar que o voucher virou um token in-game e nรฃo pode mais ser "sacado" do jogo. Isso na minha opiniรฃo faria com que todos que tenham stake de SPS reavaliassem se vale a pena continuar jรก que os 11% que sรฃo ditos lรก estariam considerando o Voucher que jรก nรฃo tem mais valor jรก que nรฃo pode mais ser sacado para ser comercializado. Alรฉm disso, imagino os usuรกrios que acreditaram no projeto inicial do token e compraram as Node Licenses e que depois de 2 anos nรฃo vรฃo mais receber SPS e apenas Vouchers...
Entretanto, para que o Voucher nรฃo ficasse sem funรงรฃo alguma, a equipe criou um voucher shop, uma forma de dar utilidade ao token oferecendo items em mais uma loja. Atualmente existe 9 lojas diferentes dentro de Splinterlands, cada uma com uma funรงรฃo, mas que acaba deixando mais complexo para um novo jogador, porque vocรช ganha SPS e Glint nas batalhas e tem um Glint Shop, aรญ vocรช ganha Voucher e tem o voucher shop, ganha merito tem os booster de guild. Porque nรฃo juntar tudo em um รบnico token que gere valor para o token principal que รฉ o SPS?
