How To Win In The Ruleset Healed Out Using Forcefield and Repair Ability

Hello Splinterlover, how are you today? I hope you have a great day. Today I will make a post again about the Splinterlands contest Battle Mage Secrets Challenge. This Week's Theme is Healed Out ruleset.

I play in the Modern Format Diamond League, using my scholar account from Balthazar I only use cheap cards like Chaos, Reward, and some Neutral.

Ruleset

  • Healed Out, all healing abilities from summoners and monsters are removed.
  • mana cap.
  • can only use elements Life.

My Lineup and strategy

This is my thought For the Healed Out ruleset, although we can't restore Health Point / HP in this battle we can restore the armor, and with the Martyr ability we can buff our stats, which means increasing the HP, armor, and other base stats the unit has. Base on that logic this is my lineup :

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
The Grandmaster Rathe(summoner), buff all friendly monster have Armor +1, Void Armor, and Amplify abilityThis summoner will give all friendly monster +1 armor, this is what we need to protect our HP which can't restored due to the Healed Out ruleset. Another ability is to change the armor to Void Armor (magic damage will hit armor first before the HP). Amplify will Increase Magic Reflect, Thorn, and Return Fire damage to all enemy monsters by 1, I don't think we will use this ability in this battle.
Chaos Knight, 1st position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Shield, Giant Killer, and Inspire.I put it here in case the enemy uses Uriel, I think strong enough to hold for several rounds if the enemy uses Uriel, another reason to boost the damage of the Stitch Leech in the 2nd position with Inspire ability which increase the damage of our melee monster by 1. Strong against melee and range units because have Shield ability that decreases the damage of the melee and range attack by half.
Stitch Leech, 2nd position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, and Life Leech. This melee monster can attack from any position because it has a Sneak ability which makes this monster attack the opponent in the last position. With Life Leech's ability every time this monster attacks and decreases the enemy's HP, the HP will increase according to the damage dealt. This is the reason I put it in the 2nd position I hope when our Chaos Knight dies it can be the 2nd tanker with high HP.
Iziar 3rd position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Taunt, Void, and Martyr abilityPlaced in the 3rd position so the enemy damage can be split with the monster in the first position (Chaos Knight as the first monster), and we want this monster dies so the Martyr ability boost all stats of Stitch Leech and Prismologist by 1. This monster's Taunt ability makes all enemies attack this monster if they can. Has the Void ability which decreases the magic damage by half. Perfect for this formation because our tanker Chaos Knight in the first position is weak against magic we need this unit to buy time against magic attacks.
Prismologist 4th position, Attacker. Has the ability Blast, Forcefield, and Silence abilityPlaced in the 4th position to receive the Martyr stats boost from Iziar. This monster has Blast ability, the attack will give damage to the monster adjacent to the monster this monster attack. With the Iziar stats boost this monster will give great damage to several enemies at once. Forcefield ability, will make this monster only receive 1 damage if attacked by a monster with 5 or more damage. The last ability is the Silence ability which decreases all the enemy monster magic attacks by -1, this will be very useful in this battle, because usually in the middle high mana battle the enemy will use a magic attack.
Soul Fiend, 5th position, support. Has Swiftness ability. This monster has zero mana cost and can give +1 speed to all our monsters. With better speed, our chance to attack first, hit the enemy, and evade the enemy attack will increase. This unit has a low attack and is easy to die. I have a dilemma to put it in the last position or in 5th position but finally decided to put it here hoping the enemy not bring a monster with the Sneak ability.
Adelade Brightwing, 6th position, attacker and support, has the ability Flying, Repair, Resurrect, Immunity, and Swiftness.Placed in the 6th position because I guess the enemy will not bring monster with the Sneak ability, so this position is safe temporary. It has slow speed, and low HP but has much good support abilities like the Immunity ability which ignores any negative effects (Poison, Cripple, Weaken, etc). Flying ability increases the chance to evade the enemy melee or range attack by 25%. The Resurrect ability is very useful for reviving our monster Iziar, we use this monster to double the boost effect of the Martyr ability from Iziar. The ability Swiftness gives a +1 speed boost The last ability is Repair ability which can restore the ally armor with the most damage.

This is the full formation we use in this battle :

Did your Strategy Work?

Our strategy is not working well. Before Stitch Leech could kill the monster in the last position, he was forced to advance to the first position because our Chaos Knight, which was weak against magic attacks, received a magic attack and also an attack from Supply Runner which had received a 2x boost from Iziar so the damage was very high.

We won this battle because of the Forcefield ability from Prismologist and Repair ability from Adelade Brightwing. The enemy unit in the back that gets a boost from Iziar has very high damage so when it hits Prismologist it only reduces its armor by 1 so it can withstand attacks from 3 Enemy monsters as shown below :
