What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing strategy game in your daily free time. Well, if you are serious about your progress in this game then you must be playing hard right now because there are only 4 days left for this ongoing ranked season to end. So whatever your goal is for this season, be it to either reach a certain league tier or secure a position in the champion leaderboard, be sure to complete that as soon as possible, as, during these last days of the season, the battle arena will be a blood bath when all the players across the world get active and come together to play. Now talking about me, in my last post I said that I have already touched my goal of reaching the Champion league, but since then I have been losing a lot and even lost my position at champion and currently sitting at Diamond I tier with a current trophy count of 3,680. But I still have a healthy energy bar and will try to play more in these last days to earn more SPS and Glint while trying to reclaim my spot. Let's see how it goes and see if I can finally finish this season while at Champion.
Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another deadly attacker monster in this post. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be shading light upon INFERNAL FIRESTORM, so if you are interested, let us take a deep dive without further ado.
Infernal Firestorm
INFERNAL FIRESTORM is a monster type card that was first released with the latest Rebellion edition card set and it is a card from the core set. This monster belongs to the Fire element and its attack type is magic. As for cost, you will need 10 mana to use this card in your battles, so you can select this card when playing medium to high mana limit matches. It is an epic-type card, so you will need a total of 46 BCXs of cards to upgrade this card to the max level. Apart from having a decent magic attack with good speed and an awesome combo of health and armour, this monster also comes with 2 useful abilities at max level which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities below.
BRONZE
At level 2, this monster card possesses 2 magic attack at 3 speed with 5 armour and 10 health and it also gets the Flank ability since its initial level. With this ability, at the beginning of the battle, if this monster is in first place, then the monster in the second place receives the Reach ability. So if you want to use any melee monster as a reach card, you may consider using this card at the front position.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster to the next level 3, it receives an increased 3 magic attack at 3 speed with 5 armour and 10 health. However, it does not get any new ability at silver league but that’s okay, cause its increased magic attack will help you kill down enemy cards at a faster rate.
GOLD
As this monster reaches level 5, it gets 3 magic attack at an increased 4 speed with 6 armour and 11 health but even in gold league, it does not get any new abilities. But anyway, it does get an increment in its speed, armour and health and becomes harder to kill down by enemy attacks.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this card to its max level 6, it possesses 3 magic attack at 4 speed with an increased 7 armour and 11 health and finally at its max level, it receives another new ability called Demoralize. This new ability will decrease every enemy melee monster’s attack power by 1. So, this card will be super useful against melee monsters.

BATTLE STAT
This time, I got a large 60 mana limit match where 4 elements were allowed - Fire, Water, Death and Dragon and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match as follows - * Lost Legendaries - No legendary monsters can be used in this match. Tis but Scratches - All the monsters in this match will have the Cripple ability. Holy Protection - All monsters have the Divine Shield ability. After looking at all the rules and regulations applied in this match, I started thinking about a useful strategy and decided to go with high level archers to do the job. For this match, I chose the legendary fire summoner Conqueror Jacek and at my front position, I placed the Infernal Firestorm followed by Arkemis the Bear, Lava Launcher, Gargoya Devil, Ash Mirage and Supply Runner at the end position.
When both the lineups got revealed, I saw that my opponent had used the legendary water summoner Possibilus the Wise and at his front position, he has chosen Arkemis the Bear followed by Coastal Sentry, Merdaali Guardian, Sultry Barmaid, Angelic Mandarin and Wave Brood at the end position.
As the fight started, the Firestorm gave my Arkemis Reach ability and though the opponent used Wave Brood with Taunt ability, my range mobster started attacking random cards due to having the Scattershot ability from Jacek summoner. Sadly in the first round, the Barmaid attacked and stunned my Firestorm and then the enemy Beat applied the Halving ability on it, causing it to decrease its attack down to just 1. But even then, its high Armour + Shield combo made a rock-solid defence at the front position and bought enough time for my rear attackers. But as the opponent also used high-level attackers, my Firestorm died in the very first round by the Mandarin’s attack. But anyway, my other monsters played really well in this match and while Bear took the front defence in its hand and saved me from multiple attacks, my backline archers performed some deadly attacks and killed down the enemy cards one by one and thus, I won this match and earned myself some more SPS and Glint tokens.
