As a newcomer we all start with starter playable cards, and for this guide we will only use those starter cads in order to don't spent $DEC in rents before achieve Bronze II.

Well, for that i will use my altacc @splinterism.

• FRESH START •

As a beginner we started as Novice with 0 Rating, and also 0 power collection.

If you look at your collection you will see that you didn't own any cards.

But, as said before the game gives those "starter cards" as playable which you can join ranked battle.

For this guide i will show a composition with the Death element.

Yellow for the Top Tier (for Novice league)
Blue to complete team.

• TIPS •

The power from this composition comes from the heal abilities from Haunted spirit, and his 2 melee damage.

Note that at Novice league 2 damage is a lot, that's the thing you need to know at novice stage, because many monsters can mitigate 1 damage with abilities, or even heal +2 hp per turn and turns your 1 damage useless.

knowing that, another source of power from this comp comes from Twisted Jester, because his sniper abilities who is very useful to kill damage dealer from opponents team and also his 2 Ranged Damage who reach the line to kill a healer.

Another useful thing to know is the value of Cursed Slimeball,
in this case the value comes from the possibility to mitigate one hit from opponent. Renting cards you can use the Furious Chicken who cost 0 mana to do the same job.

• HIGH MANA CAP MATCHES •

In the high mana caps i like to use the neutral card Mantoid to fill the damage. He also has sniper abilities and 2 damage, which means he will follow the Twisted Jester and give more damage to the same target.
Also Death elemental to the same propose. Be aware if you enemy could kill your Death Elemental with 1 hit, otherwise try undead priest.

• EXTRA TIP •

After reaching some Rating, battles get harder because you will face more experienced opponents, so don't try to use always the same deck composition/element. Why ?

Before the matches, you can see the battle history of recent comps from your opponent, so if you always use the same deck your opponent can easily counter you.

asd.png

So, use the same deck/element/comp isn't a Tip or a good thing at all.

This deck composition is one that you can use in situational matches, but always remember that the game is not limited to a one deck 100% win.

For more deck compositions from Novice - Bronze II elo, stay tunned.

Surely you won't win them all, but with this tips i hope you get better in the way to Bronze II and start earn rewards, roll the snowball and achieve higher steps.
