Rebellion Showtime!! (Part 5)

For Life Splinter, I've managed to collect all the Normal and Rare card type. The Epic and Rare card type are very difficult to be pulled, but I was lucky enough to gain Commander Goff. On glance overview, the cards collection seemed mostly balanced between melee, ranged, and magic cards, all across from Normal to Legendary type. In addition Life Splinter provides some unique cards unseen in other Splinter.

THE SUMMONER

Similar to all other Splinter, Life Splinter gained 2 (two) new Summoner, Chuul Jujinchi and Avina Of The Wolf. Chuul Jujinchi is the new dual elemental Summoner, which combine Life Splinter with Earth Splinter. One thing come to my mind is the possibility for large Tank Heal coming from Goblin Psychic, Venari Crystalsmith, and Meriput Magician. Other than that both Earth and Life have a vast amount of range and magic cards better than the rest. Avina Of The Wolf provides alternatives between double +2 speed or single Heal. I barely use this Summoner because speed advantage are much better gained from Slow or Swiftness. Heal would play crucial roles if used on the right cards. Unfortunately Heal doesn't always fit in with the formation, and to end up with +2 speed is not entirely a good trade for 5 mana.

MELEE CHARGER

There are 4 (four) melee cards in total. The first one is Skyspire Yak. The card is a typical 4 mana Melee cards which consist of decent damage and average damage. It is not particularly strong but still better than some cards (for example compared to Giant Scorpion). The cutting edge come from its Armored Strike which provide additional damage though might short-lived with its 1 armor. Silverblade Fighter turn to be one of my favorite melee from Life Splinter. A 6 armor and 5 health is total "Tanker" for a 6 mana card, though its health are rather low to withstand magic attack. This card might only have 1 damage, but to possess Flank is a huge gamechanger. So far Silverblade Fighter is the card with the lowest mana to possess Flank ability.

Uludin Regulator will be the upgrade version of Celestial Harpy. Still I felt at Level 1 this card might be overpriced with 2 damage costing 5 mana compared to Celestial Harpy with 1 damage costing 2 mana. My first though on Bera Dallin is its a very robust Tanker. So far Mantaroth (which also cost 11 mana) couldn't the armor and health of Bera Dallin. Having Taunt seemed to fit its roles as a "Tanker". But it might create dilemma on whether Bera Dallin best to absorb damage earlier or capitalize on its armor to deal gigantic damage. Shield on Level 2 equalize Bera Dallin with Mantaroth even more. Other important notes is its progress on Level 4, which grant not only Void Armor but +1 to speed, armor, and health establishing this card as the best Tanker in the collection.

RANGED ARTILLERY

Aria Bandit is a great addition to the ranged collection. A 4 mana pack pack a lot with 2 damage. The health might be a bit of problem, but the Dodge ability should provides adequate balance. Anachron Bolter is that rare card with 2 (two) attack types. In addition, this is the 2nd ranged-magic-combo card right after Runemancer Florre. Compared to Runemancer, Anachron inferior in term of damage, which understood from its lower mana cost. Headwinds at Level 1 would set this card to be an important and tactical Support card. Karst Harpy will be the exact substitute to Thunderbird. Both possessed equal parameter and abilities, with the only difference is Karst Harpy have 1 (one) extra health.

Commander Goff is the ultimate ranged card for Life Splinter not only because its a Legendary card, but also its profile said all about it. The card might cost 9 mana, but 7 armor, 7 health, 4 speed, and Dodge make it a complete combo needed for a hardened ranged card. Unfortunately Goff didn't gain significant growth when level up. Even the Inspire and Divine Shield abilities might look minor to its roles. Resurrect at Level 4 seemed the ultimate compensation for levelling this card.

MAGIC WATCHER

Meriput Magician with its Tank Heal ability will be a great alternatives for Venari Crystalsmith. Thanalorian Archer are similar to Meriput Magician both in term of damage, endurance, and mana cost. But compared to Tank Heal, Thanalorian started with Snipe and Lookout. Its still difficult to judge the potential of Lookout, since this ability only protect the adjacent cards but not the possessor. This card gained benefit from higher parameter on when levelling up later.

Harbinger Of Chaos remind me so much to Nerissa Tridawn. Both cost quite some mana and rare enough to deal 3 (three) magic damage at only Level 1. Compared to Nerissa, Harbinger might possessed 2 (two) abilities, but both are more for self-protection. In the end Harbinger Of Chaos will play roles very much similar to Nerissa, that is to deal magic damage while holding up as secondary Tanker.

BYSTANDER

Albahoo Forester will be the new non-attack card from Life Splinter. The card started with a very low health but managed to propel through the level. Return Fire is the main measure of it to fight back. Triage is an unexpected ability for this card, since this card supposed to hold the frontline and not play Support. True Strike might be redundant, and seemed to only be useful when Weapon Training come to play.
