Rebellion Reward Cards Full Spoiler Treasure Hunt

image.png

It's that time again. We're getting a new set of cards to play with. We've recently run into some incentives to play modern over wild format. More specifically, you have to pay for a wild pass each season to play wild format. It's still free to play modern and the rewards are better in modern. With modern all we have to play with are Chaos Legion with the associated reward cards and mini set and Rebellion. Next week we get the reward cards that are attached to Rebellion. You can't buy the cards yet, you'll have to earn them. Also I haven't found a full spoiler yet, so I'll take you on my journey. It seems like every time Splinterlands introduces new cards it gets harder to find the spoilers.

Here's what we know

Just 5 days ago we got the initial PeakD post announcing that we would get a new set of reward cards here @splinterlands/reward-cards-update

This post introduces the new abilities being introduced, but none of the actual cards

Here's 4 new abilities

image.png

At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, gain a random ability from the enemy team. 25% chance to gain a random ability from an attacker when hit. Dispel removes one mimicked ability in the order they were gained. Debilitations, Targeting abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt cannot be mimicked.

image.png

Each round, restore 1/3 of max health to allied units, rounded down. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1.

image.png

If the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit.

image.png

Always targets enemy units with Flying first regardless of abilities or rulesets. +2 damage if the target has Flying.

They're also introducing debilitations, here's 3 of those

image.png

Reapplies Burning at the beginning of each round. Burning has a 33% chance to spread to adjacent units at the beginning of each round, then all Burning units lose 2 health. Burning can be cleansed.

image.png

Deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of each round.

image.png

Each round, Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate.

I don't know yet if your cards will lose their debilitations in the back to basics ruleset. If someone does know, let me know or I guess we'll just find out next week.

The new reward cards set will have

12 common cards
12 rare cards
7 epic cards
12 Legendary cards

Here's our map to find them from the invitation to this week's social media challenge

image.png

Here's Frigid Wolf which I found as a repost from @dejota who credits @bulldog1205 , but I thought it was a repost on his page.

image.png

Here's Dakota Cat which I found as a repost from @dejota who credits @goldmatters
I'm actually not so sure that this is a spoiler for the upcoming reward cards.

image.png

Here's Blackmoor Jinx which I found as a repost from @dejota on X

image.png

Here's Chaos Battle Mage which I found as a repost from @dejota on X

image.png

Here's Darth Squirrel from @bulldog1205 on X. This one rests with Dakota Cat as a card that I'm not too sure is part of the new reward cards release. I think it may actually be part of some sort of side project that he has going on.

Alright, so I guess that's not the full spoiler, but I spent all night looking and that's all I could find. That's only 24 cards that I found. I'm pretty sure that 22 of them are part of the new reward cards release. Not real confident in the other 2, so we're about halfway there with just a week to go before release. I guess it's nice that Splinterlands is trying to include people in the spoiler process, but I think this is an inefficient and frustrating way to go about it. I'm sorry for whichever of these I miscredited.

When someone finds a true full spoiler, please let me know in the comments.

I was too busy trying to find cards to evaluate their merits, plus these all seem to be maxed out and I've never been able to play with maxed out cards. Do you have any favorites? I will tell you that Halaran Huntress stood out as my favorite artwork, so shout out to whoever did that.

I hope this post has been helpful and informative. Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game.
