In today’s post, I’m going to talk about the different types of tournaments we can find in the game, the requirements to participate in them, the rewards we can get, and finally, some tips to make them profitable.

En el post de hoy, voy a hablaros de los distintos tipos de torneo que podemos encontrar en el juego, los requisitos para participar en ellos, las recompensas que podemos obtener y finalmente unos consejos para que sean rentables.
SPLINTERLANDS TOURNAMENTS
To access the available tournaments, we need to go to PLAY -> TOURNAMENTS.
The first thing we’ll see is a list of available tournaments. We should pay special attention to the tournament date, the tournament rules, the prizes, and the entry fee.

Para acceder a los torneos disponibles debemos ir a PLAY -> TOURNAMENTS
Lo primero que veremos es un listado de los torneos que están disponibles. En ellos debemos llevar especial atención en la fecha en la que se celebra el torneo, las reglas del torneo, los premios y la cuota de entrada.
Para más detalles lo mejor es pulsar en el botón VIEW.
In this example, we have a tournament in MODERN format, meaning we can only use cards from MODERN editions. Additionally, we can see the number of players registered for the tournament: 154.
To participate, we need to have 12,000 SPS STAKED, which can be either owned or rented.
We also need a total of 102,925 Power or more of cards of the same type as the tournament, meaning MODERN cards.
The entry fee for this tournament is 400 DEC.
In this type of tournament, sponsored by Splinterlands, we have 24 hours from the start of the tournament to submit our teams, and the top 30% of players move on to a second round. In the end, the top 128 players will receive a reward.
En este ejemplo tenemos un torneo en formato MODERN, o sea solo podremos usar cartas de ediciones MODERN. Además podemos observar la cantidad de jugadores apuntados el torneo 154.
Para poder participar en él necesitamos tener 12.000 SPS STAKED, pueden ser de nuestra propiedad o alquilados.
Además un total de 102925 de Poder o más de cartas del tipo del torneo, o sea MODERN.
La cuota para apuntarse en el torneo es de 400 DEC
En este tipo de torneos auspiciado por Splinterlands tenemos 24 hr. desde que comienza el torneo para enviar los equipos y el 30% de los mejores jugadores pasan a una segunda eliminatoria. Al final los 128 mejores jugadores recibirán una recompensa.
HOW TO USE THE FILTERS
When we have a large number of tournaments available, the best option is to use the filter provided.
With it, we can filter by league type (Novice, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and whether cards are gold foil or not). We can also choose whether we want to play in MODERN or WILD format.
This option will save you a lot of time when searching for the desired tournament.
Cuando tenemos una gran cantidad de torneos disponibles la mejor opción es hacer uso del filtro que tenemos disponible.
En él podremos filtrar por el tipo de liga (Novato, Bronce, Plata, Oro, Diamante y cartas o no doradas). También si queremos jugar en formato MODERN o WILD.
Esta opción te ahorrará mucho tiempo en busca del torneo deseado.
PRIZES
Among all the things to consider, the main one is knowing the entry cost for the tournament and the minimum prize we can receive if we place among the winners.
In all Splinterlands tournaments, the chances of winning at least a small amount of SPS are relatively easy if we perform reasonably well. However, I must warn you that many players with exceptional card levels participate in most tournaments, and it can be challenging to secure a good position.
Still, even placing at the lower end of the prize pool already results in a profit.
De entre todas las cosas la principal es saber que cuesta entrar en el torneo y el premio mínimo que podemos recibir si quedamos entre los ganadores.
En todos los torneos de Splinterlands las probabilidades de ganar aunque sea una pequeña cantidad de SPS es sencilla si hacemos las cosas medianamente bien. Pero debo advertiros que en la mayoría de torneos se apuntan gente con un nivel de cartas excepcionales y en muchos casos es difícil quedar en una buena posición.
Aun así, con quedar de los últimos entre los premiados ya se consiguen beneficios.
TIPS

And here’s a tip to always make a profit!
Look at the image of the tournament above. This tournament is currently in progress. We can see that 75 people are participating, and the top 128 will receive a reward.
What does this mean? In this tournament, even finishing in last place, we would receive 33.6 SPS, which is approximately 289 DEC, while the entry fee for the tournament was 200 DEC. So, if we had joined this tournament, we would have earned 89 DEC without doing anything, as long as we didn’t need to spend on renting SPS or cards to meet the power requirements.
¡Y aquí os dejo un consejo para obtener siempre ganancias!
Mirar la imagen del torneo de arriba. Este torneo está en progreso en estos momentos. Podemos observar que en el torneo participan 75 personas y los primeros 128 obtienen recompensa.
¿Qué quiere decir esto? Que en este torneo aún quedando en la última posición obtendremos 33,6 SPS que son aproximadamente 289 DEC pero la cuota de entrada al torneo era de 200 DEC. Así que si nos hubiéramos apuntado al éste torneo hubiéramos ganado 89 DEC sin hacer nada, siempre y cuando no tuviéramos que gastar en alquilar SPS y cartas para tener el suficiente poder.
