Hello Splinterlands friends, in today's post I wanted to make a special mention to 2 cards that have become indispensable in my collection. They are Crystal Werewolf or Mushroom Seer.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, en el post de hoy quería hacer una mención especial a 2 cartas que se han vuelto imprescindibles en mi colección. Ellas son Crystal Werewolf o Mushroom Seer.
The appearance of the summoner Obsidian in the starter together with new cards such as Goblin Psychic, Mycelic Slipspawn, Regal Peryton, Queen Mycelia, have made the Splinter Earth become the goal of the game and in Bronze and Silver league we can find countless games against this type of decks.
De un tiempo a esta parte y gracias a la edición de Chaos Legion, se ha vuelto mucho más sencillo crear un buen mazo de tipo magia, la aparición de la invocadora Obsidian en el starter junto a nuevas cartas como Goblin Psychic, Mycelic Slipspawn, Regal Peryton, Queen Mycelia, han hecho que el Splinter Tierra haya pasado a ser el meta del juego y en liga Bronce y Plata podemos encontrarnos innumerables partidas contra este tipo de mazos.
I am also a fervent follower of creatures with magical power and since my beginnings I have opted to play with this type of cards, at first my main deck is composed of Alric Stromringer which together with Djinn Oshannus made it tremendously powerful. With the disappearance of the summoner, it has become more difficult to find this type of deck in low leagues but when you get close to 2000 rating points you start to see how players continue to use it.
Yo también soy un ferviente seguidor de las criaturas con poder mágico y desde mis inicios me he decantado por jugar con este tipo de cartas, en un principio mi principal mazo esta compuesto por Alric Stromringer qué junto Djinn Oshannus lo hacían tremendamente poderoso. Con la desaparición del invocador, se ha vuelto más difícil de encontrar este tipo de mazo en ligas bajas pero cuando te acercas a los 2000 puntos de rating ya empiezas a ver como los jugadores siguen usándolo.

Y así es como tras meses jugando a Splinterlands y enfrentarme una y otra vez al Splinter Tierra y su poder mágico he decidido escribir este post para hablaros de las 2 cartas que suelo usar para contrarrestar todo su potencial. Pasemos a analizar mis 2 cartas favoritas, Crystal Werewolf y Mushroom Seer.
Splinter Earth: Mushroom Seer
If we play with the Splinter Earth and our enemy also uses it, our best option is to play with the card Mushroom Seer. Belonging to the Reward edition and with a Rare rarity, it is one of the cards that has increased its value the most due to its ability Silence that reduces the magic attack of all the opponent's creatures by 1 point. With this card alone, we can make our opponent's entire strategy collapse and achieve a very comfortable victory.
Si jugamos con el Splinter Tierra y nuestro enemigo también suele usarlo, nuestra mejor opción es jugar con la carta Mushroom Seer. Perteneciente a la edición Reward y de rareza Rara, es una de las cartas que más ha aumentado su valor debido a su habilidad Silence que reduce el ataque mágico de todas las criaturas del rival en 1 punto. Sólo con esta carta, podemos hacer que toda la estrategia de nuestro rival se venga abajo y conseguir una victoria muy holgada.

Due to the battle conditions, it was to be expected that I would use it, so I use Mushroom Seer in fourth position away from direct confrontations. The luck we have with our Mushroom Seer is that he has a good magic attack and using Obsidian still boosts it. The result is that while our enemy doesn't benefit from his summoner's bonus thanks to our Mushroom Seer, we boost ours to do devastating damage on his troops.
Como podemos observar en este combate tanto mi oponente como yo usamos el Splinter Tierra. Debido a las condiciones de batalla, era de suponer que lo usaría, así que utilizo a Mushroom Seer en cuarta posición alejado de los enfrentamientos directos. La suerte que tenemos con nuestro Mushroom Seer es que tiene un buen ataque mágico y al usar a Obsidian aún se ve potenciado. El resultado es que mientras nuestro enemigo no se ve beneficiado por el bonificador de su invocadora gracias a nuestro Mushroom Seer, nosotros potenciamos las nuestras para hacer un daño devastador en sus tropas.
Splinter Life: Crystal Werewolf
I honestly love playing magic with Splinter Vida. Believe it or not, we have one of the most powerful creatures in the Splinter Vida Djinn Renova and together with Time Mage in addition to their attacks give us 2 very good advantages Strenghthen and Slow. If we combine this and make use of Dragon along with Life and the summoner Delwyn Dragonscale the result is devastating, since we can incorporate lethal creatures like Void Dragon and Chaos Dragon. All this together with Crystal Werewolf makes us an anti-magic deck that in turn its potential is magic.
Sinceramente me encanta jugar magia con el Splinter Vida. Aunque no lo creamos, tenemos unas de las criaturas más poderosas en el Splinter Vida Djinn Renova y junto a Time Mage además de sus ataques nos proporcionan 2 muy buenas ventajas Strenghthen y Slow. Si esto lo combinamos y hacemos usamos Dragon junto con Vida y el invocador Delwyn Dragonscale es resultado es devastador, ya que podemos incorporar criaturas letales como Void Dragon y Chaos Dragon. Todo ello junto con Crystal Werewolf nos hace un mazo anti magia que a su vez su potencial es la magia.

On this occasion and thanks to the battle conditions, I was able to use the summoner Delwyn Dragonscale, it was my chance to use a destructive strategy. First and as I usually do when I play with Dragon is to select Djinn Chwala behind Void Dragon that thanks to his ability will protect me against magic, then our Time Mage to slow down our enemy. Right in the fourth position is the time to put our Crystal Werewolf that even knowing that he won't be able to attack, only his Silence skill will allow us to gain advantage against the enemy. Finally, we will use Djinn Renova for his strength and ability and Chaos Dragon who will become our flying beast.
Lo primero que me di cuenta antes de seleccionar las cartas es que mi oponente jugaba con Alric Strombringer en la mayoría de sus batallas, así que era el momento oportuno de usar mi estrategia. En esta ocasión y gracias a las condiciones de la batalla, pude usar al invocador Delwyn Dragonscale, era mi oportunidad de usar una estrategia destructiva. En primer lugar y como suelo hacer cuando juego con Dragon es seleccionar a Djinn Chwala por detrás a Void Dragon que gracias a su habilidad me protegerá contra la magia, después a nuestra Time Mage para ralentizar a nuestro enemigo. Justo en la cuarta posición es el momento de poner a nuestro Crystal Werewolf que aún sabiendo que no va a poder atacar, sólo su habilidad Silence nos permitirá ganar ventaja frente al enemigo. Por último, usaremos a Djinn Renova por su fuerza y habilidad y a Chaos Dragon que se convertirá en nuestra bestia voladora.
We see that the opponent plays with the summoner at level 3 and several cards at level 2 and 3 but there is no need to worry because we have everything under control. After several turns the balance falls in our favor and we see the importance in this battle of using Crystal Werewolf to counter the enemy's magical attacks.
Vemos que el oponente juega con el invocador a nivel 3 y varias cartas a nivel 2 y 3 pero no hay porqué preocuparse ya que tenemos todo controlado. Su Djinn Oshannus aguanta los primeros golpes, mientras mi Djinn Chwala cae a las primeras de cambio. Pero después tenemos a Void Dragon que aguantará los ataques mágicos del enemigo, mientras nosotros ya empezamos a destruir sus criaturas. Después de varios turnos la balance cae a nuestro favor y vemos la importancia en esta batalla de usar a Crystal Werewolf para contrarrestar los ataques mágicos enemigos.
Conclusions
More and more players are using magic as a strategy in their combats and we must find a way to counter their strategy. In my opinion, both Mushroom Seer and Crystal Werewolf are 2 clear examples of how a simple card can make us win a game.
Cada vez son más los jugadores que utilizan magia como estrategia en sus combates y debemos buscar la forma de poder contrarrestar su estrategia. En mi opinión, tanto Mushroom Seer como Crystal Werewolf son 2 claros ejemplos de como una simple carta puede hacernos ganar una partida.
I have been using them for a long time and both in Ranked and in Brawls they are fixed in my battles and I can assure you that they work very well.
