Hello, inhabitants of Pretoria. Welcome to this Community Engagement Challenge, it's time to tell you a bit about the Gladiator Sanctuaries, who their representatives are, and an excerpt from one of them.
The Gladiator Sanctuaries
The continent of Pretoria is immense, full of a great diversity of inhabitants and a rich culture. The territories that make up Pretoria are: Pristine Northwest, Broken Lands, Land of Prosperity, Central Fire, Wild Northeast, Great Lowlands, and Shimmering Coasts.
The inhabitants in each territory share some characteristics such as being warriors and a devotion to the primordial and major gods. While some inhabitants believe they are merely manipulated by the gods, others venerate and thank them for the favors they bestow.
One of the favors or blessings received by the generals in all territories was the blessing of their most outstanding warriors or influential individuals, transforming them into the ultimate leaders and recruiters of gladiators, as well as being embodiments of their god's will.
The gladiators or Gladius are unique individuals who inhabit a land beyond, some belonging to lost races, but with a connection to the basic elements and a strange power that strengthens them with each victory.
Only a few were chosen to receive the blessing of a god, so far only six have been chosen and they are the following: Helios Matriarch, Eternan Brune, Pembrook Nymph, Lobb Lowland, Franz Ruffmane, and Octavia Shadowmeld.
Only the identity of some gods who bestowed the blessing has been confirmed, it may be speculation in some cases, but these are by warrior; Helios Matriarch (Helios, Dragon God of Magic), Eternal Brune (Votix, Goddess of War), Pembrook Nymph (Gryyja, Goddess of Protection), Lobb Lowland (Lygash, God of Wood), Franz Ruffmane (Solaki), and Octavia Shadowmeld (Nestal, Goddess of Pain and Desperation).
Among the warriors, there are some who are not very devoted to a religion, but they do as their god wishes, making them worthy of the blessing. The home of these blessed individuals was transformed and called the "Gladiator's Sanctuary" in most cases.
The gods are capricious or mysterious beings, for now, they have only chosen these warriors so far, but it is certain that in the future they may choose new and more powerful ones.

Sanctuary to Helios
In the territory of Central Fire lies the Gloridax Empire, whose inhabitants are the drakoshans, naga, humans of Draykhan, and the serpentina, along with other minor races. Their beliefs are focused on Helios, the Dragon god of magic, with a minority devoted to Brood Mother Yrsiss, the goddess of Sovereignty.
The fruits of their devotion to Helios led to the ascension of one of his most faithful and committed followers to convey the will of her god, Rosa Phireth, the youngest matriarch chosen in years, who had managed to spread the influence of her faith throughout the empire. The blessing of her god transformed her into Helios Matriarch, a semi-divine being residing in Ataraxia.
Ataraxia is the Grand Headquarters of the empire, where the sanctuary of the Helios Matriarch is located. It is a gigantic structure, filled with symbols and statues referring to her god and blessed warriors. Along the temple corridors, statues commemorating the victories of Larissa Kerato (a powerful gladius) and those of Helios Matriarch can be observed.
Helios Matriarch (Rosa Phireth), upon receiving the blessing, became incredibly powerful, capable of summoning warriors from other races to serve her people and faith.
The sanctuary is a very busy place for pilgrims seeking to hear the words of the matriarch and implore her to intercede on their behalf with her god. One observed event in the sanctuary square is when the matriarch purifies false followers, stating, "Helios has spoken. Always trust in him to protect you from the blasphemous."
