Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: My One Crazy Tutorial Secret

Hello splinterfans.

This weeks Community Engagement is all about putting newbies through into knowing what splinterlands is all about and probably how to get started.

I've got just one magic ingredient that will change your game and probably get you your first win if you someone who is struggling on splinterlands. It takes a whole lot of work yes! but its completely worth it at the long run.

Before i dive deep into my secret sauce lets first of all understand the game splinterlands and what its made up off

Splinterlands is not complicated at all not if you want it to be. To get started you must first understand the card and what its made up of, thats just it nothing serious nothing tactic.

Well there you have it, here is a short summary for you

  • Mana cost: shows how powerful the card is
  • Stats: these consist of the physical power (attack), the speed, toughness(shield), and health of the card(Monster)
  • (Element/rarity)The icon represent the element(Fire, water, earth, dragon, death, neutral,) while the color indicates rarity ( Common, rare, epic or legendary)
  • Name: This is the name of the card just like every person in wrestling maniac.
  • Level: A higher level unlock stats or abilities, and it translates a more powerful card.
  • Experience: A green bar indicates your progress to the next level, and its gained by combining dupicate card.
  • Abilities: These are skills or power that monsters used during combat, we probably got a whole bunch of them.

Physical power (Attack): When we talk about physical power we got 3 kind of attacks, monsters either has one, two or a whole 3 of them.

I. Mellee Attack:

A monster having this attack means it can attack an enemy up close, not far or from any position probably the front row, damage is assigned to the enemy armor before health is affected, and it got a high chance of missing an attack though.

ii. Ranged Attack:

The monster attack from a distance second row will do, unable to attack up close or from the front row. Same procedure as mellee

iii. Magic attack:

Monsters with magic attack can attack from the any row, it damages the enemies health and ignores the defenders armor there is no chance of missing an attack.

I think i'll stope here for now, well if you know the basics you're good to go.

What next?

Ok heres where my secret ingredient comes in, its simple I've been using this strategy for years passing it to splinterfans who are serious on the game and its working out great for them .

Its all about studying each battles played, and duplicating it. What do i mean? When you play a battle and you get defeated, go to your ecency draft and create a post the difference is you aint publishing it its more or less like documenting your defeats.

Create a post and in that post note the ruleset and mana cost given, the monsters your opponent choosed and their names, the monsters you choose too also, get their images and the first rumble battle just to get the line up. Rinse and repeat this for each battles you lost.

So you probably get number 1 to Whatever number of games you've been defeated

Go back to splinterlands while that draft in ecency is open all you have to do is duplicate the monsters the winning team choosed, by looking at the mana cost, and ruleset given, even if it aint the same it will guild you into picking the right monster that will bring you victory.

Till we read again, Kudos!
