I am so, so, so glad I started playing Splinterlands back when it was still called Steemmonsters. I am not really a good player. I just played on and off back then. And then I try my best to influence and get my husband to play the game for me. Yup, he plays way better than I do. And I have successfully got him to start playing last year. I told him we can earn by playing the game. But then I think it's because I don't know how to maximize the earnings and of coz we invest only time into the game. Other than the value of the cards increased, but everything is just paper gain. We didn't realize any of the gain by selling anything. So deep down inside, my husband still take this game as just a game. Nothing special about it.
But this change yesterday when we first received our SPS airdrop! Wow! Not a lot, we got about 46SPS, per SPS went up to over a dollar yesterday. And now the price is around 60 - 70 cents. SPS airdrop is gonna be ongoing for 365 days, crazy and insane! I told my husband that if SPS price maintains at 60 cents, and assuming we are getting 46SPS per day from the airdrop, that would be $27.6 a day. And we would be getting an extra $10074 per year.
Not to mention that the exchange rate for MYR and USD is $1 to RM4.23. This is actually equivalent to a full time salary here in Malaysia. I don't plan to sell every bit of my SPS airdrop. Nope. Even though my husband has been eyeing to realize the profit. I am gonna stake my SPS to earn more SPS... 😁
But ya, talking about profit taking, yup, at least I will cash some out. Just that I haven't figure out whether when to sell and how much to sell. So before I come up with any plan, staking is what I will be doing for now.
So what's your plan? Are you selling all your SPS? Are you staking all your SPS? Or are you selling some and staking some? Buying more DICE?
