Hi, Hive. The situation in Ukraine still leaves a lot to be desired and I have not given up hope that this conflict will end soon and the presidents will find the right words and come to an understanding, or at least put the negotiations on a diplomatic track. Without shooting and mutual rocket attacks.
Spent a lot of time in the game this weekend, made it to the Diamond League, and decided on a rather curious experiment with renting a rather expensive Waka Spiritblade card.
Daily Quest Rewards
The daily quest for the element of Life took about an hour to complete today, and finishing it in the Diamond III league gave me a great reward - a legendary Djinn Oshannus mage and rare Exploding Rats. I pumped the latter to level 3 and the mage to level 2, and I'm very happy with the addition to my deck.
Chaos Legion Pack
But the purchase of another Chaos Legion pack was less joyful - I got an epic Indidious Warlock, which I have very bad luck with, but the Fire elemental cards that fell out with it were very useful, and it was nice to raise my cards level.
Waka Spiritblade!
Last night was my first encounter with the mighty Waka Spiritblade, and my Yodin Zaku with its powerful Molten Ogre, Charlok Minotaur and Grum Flameblade attacks handled it well, but that gave me the idea of looking into it more closely.
I rented it for the day so I could try it out in combinations against the elements, and make it a surprise for my opponent in today's Guilds Brawl. As far as
It was especially good in battles against the element of Life with Earthquake "support". Watch:
And he was just as good against Water, even with a level higher summoner. Choosing an attack strategy with Harklaw, Corrupted Pegasus and magical support from Phantom Soldier and Boogeyman, reinforced by Grim Reaper archer worked at its best. And the reduced health with Undead Priest made the fight even more swift. Watch^
Of course, I wonder how Waka Spiritblade will behave in battles against gladiators, and hopefully I'll have something to share after Guilds Brawl :)
