BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! / Target practice.

This time we will talk about the Target practice condition, in this type of battle the monsters acquire the Snipe ability, therefore the attack order changes, specifically for those cards with ranged or magic attack. In this battle there was a second condition and that was the removal of shields.

My team is made up of earth element cards and I also used a neutral card, the maximum mana of the battle was 40, the summoner I used in this battle was Byzantine Kitty, this gives me stability in the first card of my team, as it has the ability to increase the life of the card in the first position, In this case I mean Grund, he can attack twice in each round, in the second position I placed Mycelic Splipspawn, it would have the function of attracting the attacks, and it would also combine with Spirit Hoarder that was in the third position, this card should heal the life of Mycelic Splipspawn.

In the fourth position, I placed Goblin Psychic, this card will attack and heal the card in the first position, then there was Wood Mymph, it would also fulfill the same function, that is, it would be in charge of healing and attacking, finally, I used Mycelic Morphoid, I used it as a filler card, and it could be the decoy in case there were cards attacking the last position of the team.

Meanwhile, my opponent used Obsidian Summoner, in the first position he placed Mycelic Infantry, Mycelic Splipspawn, Fungus Flinger, Regal Peryton, Goblin Psychic and Djinn Biljka.

  • During the battle in the first round there were no cards destroyed, in the second round was when the damage started, the first cards to be destroyed were Mycelic Splipspawn from both sides of the field, as my opponent and I had used it.
  • In the third and fourth round, everything was more complicated and defining, the second card to come out was Mycelic Infantry, while on my side of the field was destroyed Spirit Hoarder, in the fourth round, the cards that came out of the battle were Fungus Flinger, and on my side of the field were Goblin Psychic and Wood Mymph.
  • In the fifth and sixth round, only my opponent's cards came out of the battle, such as Regal Peryton and Goblin Psychic. In the last round, i.e. the seventh, Djjin Biljka was destroyed. The surviving cards in my team were Grund and Mycelic Morphoid. Now let's look at the keys to this battle.

Conclusion.

For this battle my strategy was based on a team composed of magical attacks and healing, where they all complemented each other, but the card that was key was the summoner Byzantine Kitty, as it could heal and Grund, was in charge of using the double attack, so it could keep up and the other cards slightly evaded the conditions of the battle, but I also benefited from that condition.
