It's that day of the week in which I find the most interesting Splinterlands experience I've had over the past week to share! That fits in perfectly with the theme of the weekly Splinterlands Social Media Challenge too!
But first, a quick look at what happened this week in the world of crypto.
It has been a pretty quiet week in the crypto market thus far. The price of BTC is hovering around the $60k mark which seems to be in stark contrast to that of the stock market. Tech stocks and the overall market has rallied strongly ever since 2 weeks ago on the news of the CPI and jobs data yet the crypto markets has been mostly unchanged. This is very strange indeed and I'm unsure as to what this portends. Of course, I could be completely wrong too, so, please do not heed my advice for your own investment purposes! 😜📈🚀
A brief introduction before I start though...
Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳
This is now the 143rd consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊

This week's Social Media Challenge is all about sharing our remarkable Splinterlands moments. I'd have shared my daily and weekly activities in the past, BUT, usually, nothing really special really happens in my daily Splinterlands daily grind, so let's hope this is more interesting for reading?... let's get down to it! 🤣
The winds of change are sweeping through the Splinterlands as the Chaos Legion era makes way for the new Rebellion reward cards. With revamped card costs, enhanced Glint rewards, and exciting game updates, this latest release is set to shake things up. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of what’s new, how it affects your gameplay, and what to look forward to in the coming days.
Rebellion Reward Cards:
- New Rebellion era reward cards are now available in the Reward section.
- Chaos Legion cards can now be unbound at 10x collection power value in DEC, with the cost increasing by 1x every 30 days.
- Unbinding available for 180 days; after that, cards remain permanently bound.
New Glint Costs:
- Common cards: 150 Glint.
- Rare cards: 750 Glint.
- Epic cards: 7,500 Glint.
- Legendary cards: 35,000 Glint.
- Minor loot chests: 200 Glint.
- Major loot chests: 1,000 Glint.
- Ultimate loot chests: 4,500 Glint.
Glint Bonuses by League:
- Bronze 3: 6.5x Glint.
- Bronze 2: 6x Glint.
- Bronze 1: 5.75x Glint.
- Silver 3: 5.25x Glint.
- Silver 2: 3.5x Glint.
- Silver 1: 2.25x Glint.
- Gold 3: 1.5x Glint.
- Gold 2: 1.1x Glint.
- Higher tiers remain unchanged.
Upcoming Conflict:
- The 8th Conflict is live, introducing the player-designed Summoner, Elias Max Pruitt.
Voucher Rework (Part 1):
- Vouchers are now a single in-game token.
- Vouchers can no longer be transferred out but can be transferred in.
- SPS:Voucher pool rewards ended; voucher discounts for Node License removed.
General Updates:
- New 3-part quest for new players: tutorial, Modern battle, spell book purchase.
- Wild format disabled for accounts without spell books.
- Mana filter resets when changing Summoner during Team Creation.
- Fixed early battle result display in Streamer mode.
- Added notifications for outstanding matches if navigating away from battles.
- Riftwatchers' cards can now be listed for Set rentals.
- Tournament results now list up to 1,000 places.
- Synced card level filter with For Sale/For Rent tabs.
- Fixed issue with free-to-play accounts and Challenges.
- Notice added for tournament custom prizing responsibility.
- Allow-listed creators can now make ghost card tournaments.
My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests "The New Glint Shop" continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's STILL a 0.008% chance, at base level, ridiculously low chance to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.
