what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing?
In this content i want to share my battle and talking about Scattershot ability. is Scattershot will be new meta right now due the new Rebellion card forcing many player to attack randomly and not focused in front?
Sometimes when encountered with player that bring good frontline tanker like Grimbardun Smith or Inevitable it will be hard to defeat right especially when they are immune to poison effect. Yeah that can breaked down by new rebellion summoner like Cryptic but if the player dont have that summoner how can beat the immune tanker?
So scattershot will be the only option then.
This ability called Scattershot that will make the monster that having this ability will be attacking randomly and cannot focused on 1 monster only. But back again that will be depended on the RNG and luck in this game. And since they are many cheater in this game especially that can hack or can read the movement or changing the script it will be hard to make this luck as a strategy right. But, sometimes it is better than losing to opponent that using strong and formidable tanker with full support ability like Grimbardun Smith or Inevitable.
See like this monster for example having immunity,Void,Shield,and even Repair. It will be hard for defeating this monster especially that combined with Lily Shieldpaw and healing monster ability.
Or like this one combined with Avina as Summoner and given heal ability. It will be very hard to defeated this monster right. Thats why lately many player using monster that having scattershot ability. And in this battle content i will sharing that scattershot ability is really hard to used.
Strategy Phase
And in this battle as you can see the picture above,having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Keep Your Distance that means both players cannot using any melee monster in this battle. The second ruleset is Taking Sides that means both player cannot using any neutral monster in this battle. And the last but not least is Blood and Sunder that means All units will have Corrosive Wards ability. The manacap that can be used in this battle is just 26 which is pretty low and the element that cannot be used in this battle is Life and Death element. Thats pretty good choice especially when Dragon element still active.
So, in this battle i am using some monster into the battle and here 4 main monster in my line up.
I am bringing Void Dragon because this monster have flying ability that make this monster having chance to dodge any range monster since the ruleset is make both player cannot use any melee monster. And also this monster having Void ability that can reduce the damage taken by magic damage. And this monster also having phase ability that can dodge any magic type attack. With combination flying and phase it will be hard to hit this monster. And what i need to do is make this monster speed is really high compared to opponent line up to make sure this monster hardly to get hit.
For the attacker i am bringing Acid Shooter. I am using this monster because this monster having scattershot ability that can make this monster having chance to attacking monster besides the frontline tanker. Also this monster having cripple ability so it will make the triage monster will hardly to heal their teamates. And also this monster having poison ability that can make opponent monster besides frontline tanker got poison and since in this games still dont have any monster that having cleanse for the teammates except frontline tanker so this monster is very usefull in this situation.
I am bringing Oshuur Constantia as support to my frontline tanker if the opponent bringing any monster that high damage to my frontline tanker. This monster can healing the frontline tanker and can resurrect and give the second chance to life to my monster that die in the battle. And this monster also having pretty good magic damage. Thats why i am bringing this monster this time.

- Igor The Darkspear as Attacker
- Angelic Mandarin as Support Attacker
Looking in opponent line up it is seems more complex and more support than mine. But the opponent just focused on range attack on his line up. Fortunately i am bringing monster that can heal and two support monster. And the good news is the opponent did not bring any scattershot monster ability. So, i think i can win this battle since in my line up there is monster that having scattershot ability combined with poison ability.
So, the summary of this battle is yeah it turns out that the battle is very long and late game. It really hard to depending the fate of the battle to scattershot ability or i can called scattershit ability. How come the scattershot ability will attacking more the frontline tanker than the other since the probability is just 20% chance. And you know what when my Acid shotter attacking the other monster it not giving any poison status. Thats very odd. or it scripted?
i dont know either. But when you look at it. It is really odd. Especially when calculating the probability. And fortunately the opponent line up is lack of damage thats why my team can win this battle. And after defeating opponent Baakjira it will make the battle easier. But, in the end opponent defeated due the fatique effect after entering round 21. So, imagine 20 times attack maybe around 12-15 attacking opponent frontline tanker. and that will be more than 20% right?
dont you think it is odd?

Conclution
So, in the end depending on the RNG is really hard right. If the plan is defeating the backup line or the support monster that in the backline. It will be very hard to targeting with scattershot ability, And if using snipe monster ability. When opponent using Lily Shieldpaw summoner, it will be very useless right for the snipe. Thats why scattershot is really useless abilit in my opinion. But, there are still no other ability that can avoiding attacking frontline tanker that can really effective. Yeah the only that i know is Venka that can defeated very easily for the monster like Grimbardun Smith. But, back again not everyone having Venka in their deck. And also Venka sometimes is very weak when opponent bring Opportunity monster. and the manacost is really high with 7 manacost.
