Battling at the Top!
Yet another good result has been added to the many we've been getting over the last couple of months: another second place in the brawl, putting us among the strongest and deadliest teams on the battlefield!
It's always difficult to make predictions about Splinterlands, so I admit I have no idea about how likely it is that this will continue, but for now we can enjoy all these victories, looking at the leaderboard each time with a sense of satisfaction and wondering if we'll be able to get on the podium this time too - which, indeed, seems to have become extremely within our reach lately!
Actually, at times I almost feel as if Tier II is starting to get a bit tight for us and that, if it weren't for the rather high cost, we should seriously consider trying to move up to the next Tier, thus gaining access to even bigger and juicier prizes!

Also, from now on I will try to include some other small variations in the reports, when required by the new Splinterlands Challenges, so as not to risk losing the corresponding upvotes!
This time the focus is on the Snipe ability, but unfortunately I couldn't find any such matches among the selected ones... I hope next time to have a bit more luck :)
I then went to pick up a match played in the next brawl, played by me against @kiwiuk:
In this match, the target practice ruleset, which gives all units with ranged and/or magical attacks the snipe ability, allows two of my units to work in tandem, immediately eliminating the opponent's Xenit Archer and granting me a small but useful advantage right from the start.
Noah The Just meanwhile keeps the enemy tank at bay and allows my team to get a nice victory!
Putting my digressions aside, looking at the rewards we can see that at the end of the brawl 1688 merits points and 18,889 SPS were distributed to all participants.

Brawl match by LoZio71 - This time it's @lozio71's turn to get a perfect series of victories, with 3 points out of 3: once again it's his magic team of the Water element to dominate the battlefield, thanks in part to an untameable The Kraken, which single-handedly stops all opponent attacks.
Brawl match by OcchiBlu - thanks to his team's superior speed, @occhiblu can not only strike first, but also dodge several of his opponents' attacks, thus allowing his creatures to emerge almost untouched from the fight... the same cannot be said for the opponent!
Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - Two Water Element Summoners face off in a fierce battle, in which both sides deliver lethal blows to the enemy ranks, making it difficult to tell who will emerge victorious from the clash until the very end... but it is my Isgald Vorst who manages to come out victorious from the battle, eliminating the last two creatures in a single turn.
One good result after another, erasing months and months of disappointment... let's go EDSF!

Scontri al Vertice!
Ed ecco un altro bel risultato da aggiungere ai tanti che stiamo ottenendo in questi ultimi due mesi: l'ennesimo secondo posto che ci consente di portare a termine la brawl piazzandoci tra i team più forti e letali sul campo di battaglia!
E' sempre difficile fare previsioni su Splinterlands, quindi ammetto di non avere idea sul quanto sia probabile che questo stato di cose vada più o meno avanti nel tempo, ma per ora non possiamo crogiolarci in tutte queste vittorie, guardando ogni volta la classifica con una certa soddisfazione e domandandoci se anche questa volta riusciremo a salire sul podio - cosa che, appunto, ultimamente sembra essere diventata estremamente alla nostra portata!
Anzi, a tratti viene quasi da pensare che forse il Tier II cominci a starci un po' stretto e che, non fosse per il costo abbastanza elevato, sarebbe da prendere seriamente in considerazione l'dea di provare a passare al Tier successivo, accedendo così a premi ancora più grandi e succulenti!

Inoltre, da oggi nei report cercherò di inserire anche qualche altra piccola variante, quando richiesto dalle nuove Challenge di Splinterlands, per non rischiare di perdere i relativi upvotes!
Stavolta il focus è sull'abilità Snipe, ma purtroppo non ho trovato nessuna partita del genere fra quelle selezionate... spero la prossima volta di avere un po' più fortuna :)
Sono andato quindi a prendere una partita disputata nella successiva brawl, giocata da me contro @kiwiuk:
In questo match il ruleset target practice, che conferisce a tutte le unità con attacchi a distanza e/o magici l'abilità snipe, consente a due delle mie unità di lavorare in tandem, eliminando subito la Xenit Archer avversaria e garantendomi da subito un piccolo ma utile vantaggio.
Noah The Just nel mentre tiene a bada il tank avversario e consente alla mia squadra di ottenere una bella vittoria!
Lasciando da parte le mie divagazioni, andando ad osservare le ricompense possiamo vedere che al termine della brawl sono stati distribuiti a tutti i partecipanti 1688 punti di merits e 18,889 SPS.

Partita brawl di LoZio71 - stavolta è il turno di @lozio71 di inanellare una serie perfetta di vittorie, con 3 punti su 3: ancora una volta è il suo team magico dell'elemento Acqua a dominare il campo di battaglia, anche grazie ad un indomabile The Kraken, che da sola arresta tutti gli attacchi avversari.
Partita brawl di OcchiBlu - grazie alla velocità superiore del suo team, @occhiblu può non solo colpire per primo, ma anche schivare diversi attacchi avversari, consentendo così alle sue creature di uscire praticamente illese dallo sconto... lo stesso non può dirsi per quelle avversarie!
Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - due Evocatori dell'elemento Acqua che si affrontano in un durissimo scontro, in cui entrambi gli schieramenti sferrano colpi letali alle fila nemiche, rendendo difficile fino alla fine capire chi uscirà vincitore dallo scontro... ma è la mia Isgald Vorst a riuscire ad emergere vincitrice dalla battaglia, eliminando le ultime due creature in un turno solo.
Buoni risultati uno dietro l'altro, a cancellare mesi e mesi di delusioni... forza così EDSF!
