Trying to hurt the dead with magic is equal to when someone would try to move a donkey, forcefully, both ain't moving.
This gameplay however is totally different. A touché move to the magic dealers. In today's post, I shall portray a game where a party full of undead and unholy creatures topple nature's champions. To make it more intriguing, the battle rules were the pivotal point for my landslide victory.
From all the Summoners on the table, I picked up Thaddius Brood, the only faction in which I've invested more than I should've😅. Leave a comment down below about the summoner and the monsters that you guys have invested in! Currently, I have 11 gold foil cards and am considering to buy a summoner gold card, I already have a General Sloan gold foil card, and I have a few cards in Tarsa and some cards in Obsidian, and almost no cards in Keyla Frendrul factions. If you guys have a suggestion, do tell me.
Below is the battle tactic and overview of the battle and at the end of the post is the battle link.
Battle
The mana cap was 14. The rules: Melee attackers can attack from any position.
My Team
The condition for the battle hindered my attacking potential, especially the mana cap. The rules could've been used by the possessed doll or the Disintegrator or other melee attackers.
Tank: Silent Shavi.
Leecher: Life Sapper.
Attacker: Undead Badger.
I didn't choose the Windeku because I wanted to try out some other form of attacking strategy. Also, I had to keep the higher HP monster in front and the Undead Badger in the back, this way the Badger could do damage from the back of the enemy team lineup.
Opposition
First position: Failed Summoner.
Attackers: Mycelic Morphoid, Regal Peryton, Fungus Fiend, Khmer Princess.
He had a great lineup if you ask me.
Round 1: Assemble
The traits were introduced and the opposition had a net loss in HP.
The Undead Badger got the thing and does his thing really well, after some back and forth with the Failed Summoner we have the Khmer Princess taken out.
The Failed Summoner got what was coming for her when the Life Sapper tried to take some HP, albeit the Reflect ability canceled the HP he sapped.
Again, the Badger does his job too well. This time he got the Mushroom, this was twice that he got to attack in the same round.
Round 2-Subtraction
The Silent snake got hit by the remaining monsters and was down to his last 2 HP. This was where the tables had turned, Sha-vi was hit by the "Thorns" ability of the Mycelic Morphoid. Now, it was 2 v 1 but Regal Peryton had a higher HP than both my cards combined.
Round 3 - Action Replay
Now, the constant actions of my Life Sapper stealing an HP from the Pegasus and the Pegasus hitting back with the same damage. The Badger kept on missing the Peryton and so this whole cycle kept on repeating itself. The only merit is that Peryton was decreasing in HP at a rate of 1.
Round 5 - End
The final blow was delivered by the Life Sapper, and the last HP of the Regal Peryton was used as an extra HP for the Life Sapper.
This was, even though I had 3 attackers, a massacre from his end. A battle where he had 5 attackers, this was only possible thanks to the tiny Badger.
