In this video, I discuss a major milestone hit in SPS staking. We are now over 900 million SPS tokens staked which is over 60% of the current circulating supply and 30% of the entire supply ever to be minted.
This represents that there is strong utility in the token versus speculation and trading on the market. The game has provided numerous reasons for people to stake their SPS and the hope is those reasons will only continue to grow over time.
As we are now over 50% minted when it comes to the 3 billion SPS total supply, it will be important to track how our staked SPS is doing in relation to the growing circulating supply. Keep in mind that this supply can also come down as SPS can be burned for DEC when needed.
